InBackground is the first application of its kind in the AppStore. The application idea is pretty simple: how many times you wished you could play your favorite game while listening to your favorite music? The InBackground app will make your wish come true! The application works on any website playing any video. All that you should do is copying the link of the video and opening the application(or use the app widget); after the video loads, you can now easily navigate to any app and forget about the annoying-abrupt pause of the music video. The application also provides a simple, easy-to-use library section to create and manage different playlists for future use.

A great app in need of a couple features
So I have been looking for something like this for ages and it’s amazing to use. Very simple and straightforward, with helpful shortcuts for common sites. It also removes ads by proxy, which is amazing for a background listening app. Ads from the app itself don’t play unless you are in the app, which is awesome. They could have been super cheap with it and made them play while you listened to your audio, but they didn’t and I cannot applaud them enough for it. My only complaint is that the playlist feature is more just a collection of links and doesn’t actually automatically play the next link. If they added that with as shuffle feature, and maybe a loop feature, the app would be absolutely perfect. Thank you guys so much for all you do.

Popups
I pid for the ad free version yet i still get the popup to pay for the ad free version. Selecting restore purchase just crashes the app. Annoying to have to close a popup every time i open the app. No ads in the app, but the pop up is just as annoying.
Does what it says it’s supposed to though. A bit odd of an interface but all i wanted was background play.
I do wish playing videos was a bit more efficient. It seems to want to autoplay the first video on home but then doesnt like to swap very easily and cant really scroll down in my feed. Nothing loads on scroll.

Auto play when? Actual info about how to use app when?
Yes can make playlists but have to manually start each song which is very annoying for an app that is supposed to be a background app. Also has to take to this time randomly swiping and tapping on the screen to figure out how to remove a song from a playlist, the settings in the playlist only lets you reset it, and the button that says about the app doesn’t say a dam thing about the app I went to it thinking it would actually be helpful but it wasn’t even close. Just talks about the people that made the app and other apps they made the only reason I even use this is because I am too lazy to look for another app that runs in the background for free, even it’s extremely annoying to use

Cool app but missing crucial features
This app is very useful, however it is not good for something listening to a playlist. I have a large playlist and don’t want to hear the same songs in the same order but cannot mix it. The shuffle feature would be a total lifesaver. Also, playlists should not pause after every song. A last feature but not as important as the others is a looping feature. That would make this app perfect.

Habibi, we have a VERY serious problem.
It’s the in app purchase to remove ads. It’s not working like it should. It works for a while, it then tells you to restore the purchase but then the restore purchase button doesn’t work. Sometimes the app crashes out every time you press “restore purchase” Also I can’t slide the video on my iPhone lockscreen. I have to open my phone and go to the app in order to slide the video marker to a certain timestamp. It’s annoying.

They need to take away so many ads
I usually don’t review apps. I want the developers to see this. This app has a lot of potential but it’s broken with all the ads. Every time I try play a video an ad will play before the video starts and 98% of the time the ads will get stuck and just play over and over instead of the video. I can even close the app and restart and the add will keep playing in the background. This needs to be fixed as it’s one of most annoying bugs from an app I’ve ever had. I will continue using the app but if this isn’t fixed soon I will most definitely be looking for another one to replace it with.

New Update is Amazing
Update: I originally left a review complaining about ads. For the record, I’ve been using this app daily for months and I LOVE the new update! I haven’t had any of the old issues I mentioned in my first review. I’m really happy the developer was able to read our reviews and come out with an update addressing our concerns! Def will be buying the no ads version when I can! :)

Fix it!!!
I only use this app to put down my two toddlers and is soooooo annoying when every time I try to use it it plays the ad music in the background louder then the actual music you have on yourself!! I have to restart the app like 10 times to get it to work Idc about ads have them but it really has an ad in the bottom of the page that play bodies like in trying to nap kids for crying out loud and it don’t want to work right sometimes it does I’ll give it that!! Make it for a way the ad don’t play nosie when you already playing your music!

I really needed this
I actually didn’t expect this app to be as good as it is. It immediately synced with Chrome and solved issues that Chrome has with playing videos in the background! I love this! I’ve been using third party apps to play my music for a while but this app solved that problem and works great! Will be sharing :)

$9.99 To Remove Ads Is a Waste
You may want to reconsider purchasing the remove ads feature. I purchased the option to remove ads because they were becoming an annoyance and spending 10$ wasn’t bad considering the service offered, however, I noticed when I opened the app, it continues to ask me if I want to purchase to remove ads. I tried pushing “restore purchase” but the app crashes each time I select it. I’m disappointed. If this a bug, I hope an update fixes it soon.
