This update includes Return to Sender for referrals and minors, a completely redesigned school term chooser with support for custom date ranges, and improved performance resulting in report generation times that are up to 60% faster.
The new Return to Sender feature addresses a critical gap in the incident workflow. This new option can be used by Super Administrators to send an incident back to the reporting teacher for editing. This is a huge improvement for those situations where an incident is reported as a referral when it should have been handled as a minor, or when there are other errors that the administrator would prefer the employee to correct before processing the referral. Returned incidents will remain in the inbox as pending incidents, but will be flagged as returned. Teachers can locate returned incidents in their reports, or by clicking the link to the incident in the returned incident notification email sent by the app.

This update includes new “Victims Allowed” and “Weapons Required” settings. The former allows you to make student victims optional (rather than required) for select offenses. The latter allows you to require weapons when reporting select offenses. These settings will smooth out a few workflows and help ensure the data in your account is recorded in compliance with local reporting standards.
