Indygadgetguy,
Works for me
The app works for me. It’s free. I like that this app has links to the campground and trail maps. I can download them and keep them on my iPhone.
rogersmj,
Style over substance
This app is a classic example of a design agency being too in love with their own ideas and not thinking about how people would actually use it. The main “menu” is a stylized scene that you have to scroll through to find what you want — looks nice at first but becomes frustrating after about 2 minutes.

The app’s content is mostly glorified in-app browsers; there’s nothing here you couldn’t find quicker with Google and the DNR’s website. And there’s stupid UI decisions, like if you go in through the Map main menu item, you can’t get to maps of the individual parks — for that, you have to go through the “Visiting” menu item. And the little popover tutorials about how to use the app won’t go away until you tap on all the things they’re pointing at, like I’m an idiot and I don’t know what a close button does.

Bad user experience, lackluster content...deleted it.
MASFATNINJA,
Non responsive
When tapping on an icon on the map to see what no on a park, the app becomes non responsive. You will not see any info or not the name of the park. No directions to the park either.

The app con on the bottom right of the app which appears as a current location icon is actually a switcher between park options. This icon could use updating to something that lets you know that it’s a switcher and not your current location.

Many people know where they are and so this icon appears pointless to those that don’t realize what it is.

The app hasn’t been refreshed in over 2 years so it isn’t properly maintained and is in need of a serious update and great look.

This app has great potential and I’ve had it for years in hopes of an update that has not come.

Please update this app.

As a suggestion it would be nice to have all of the discover pins and info in a tab as an option for those of us that collect them.

It might also gain interest in others if they have a way of finding out about them. They aren’t well advertised for the most part.

Thanks
The Quicksilver Dragon,
Extremely helpful
One day I decided to plan a road trip with my girlfriend. I started researching where some nice places were near me and I came across this app. It has helped me tremendously with finding different spots to take little trips to. This app is very helpful and I recommend it to anyone that wants vacation or recreation ideas.
Melmccord,
Great resource
I just discovered this app and so far love it. I like that it has the campground maps and trail info for each park. Can’t wait to get out and explore!
billym92,
Exceeded expectations
I wasn’t sure what to expect but this app is worth the download if you plan to travel to any of Indiana’s DNR owned parks. Very attractive interface and art. Very functional.
karlahill,
Missing information
Unfortunately it doesn’t even have all the state parks listed.
Kslice123,
GREAT...When you have Cell Service
None of the maps are saved in the app, so when you enter a park like Shades or Turkey Run where cell service is spotty or non-existent, it’s completely worthless.
promiseacres,
Incomplete
Not all the state parks are included so not sure the point.
GamexgHosTxL,
Andrew
I can’t even get the app to open on my phone. Goes to DNR with deer on page and kicks me off.
