Description

InMind 2 is an action/arcade VR game with a bit of decision making strategy and neuroscience of the human brain.

You'll take part in the process of one teenager named John becoming an adult, and help shape John's future self, while experiencing an exciting journey inside the unusual micro world of the carefully recreated human brain. Remember that in this world even one small molecule can change a person's destiny!

The game places emphasis on the chemistry behind human emotion, greatly inspired by the Pixar/Disney movie "Inside Out" and (more scientifically) Lövheim’s theory of emotions. On the gameplay side, we take the best from our experiences developing the games InMind and InCell, to create an innovative and eye-catching VR experience.

It is well known by scientists that emotions are nothing other than hormones affecting the human body -- and especially the brain. You'll take part in the process of one teenager named John becoming an adult, and help shape John's future self, while experiencing an exciting journey inside the human brain. During this crucial time, John will face several key moments, and his reaction to these moments may lead to forming new interests and relations. Help John on his way towards his destiny... His future is in your hands!

A unique experimental project made by Luden.io to test the opportunities of the new Virtual Reality provided by Google Cardboard.

Compatible with View Master, Fibrum, Homido, Lakento, Archos, Durovis and others Cardboard like headsets.

Really cool but...
This game is really cool and really roped me in but every time it’s about to get really good, the game crashes and I have to start all over. It also makes my phone heat up really quickly. The graphics are super cool though! I love the creativity and how unique the stories are. Can get a little boring when you’ve been playing it for 30+ minutes but as long as you keep making progress it should keep you on your toes.
gbfluteman,
Concept is great, but difficult due to drifting gyroscope
This game is amazing for VR, especially considering it’s free. My one and only complaint is the gyroscope and accelerometer do not keep the screen “centered” with where I started playing the game. The “center” consistently drifts to the right on all of this developer’s games. By the time you finish 2-3 levels, you have to completely shift your body position or crane your neck at impossible angles in order to hit your targets.

I love the fact that this game doesn’t require a joystick, since many VR headsets don’t have that with them, or they aren’t necessarily compatible with iOS. You aim by simply putting the center dot on the target, and after a slight time delay, the target is fired at. With InCell (related game by the same developer), tilting your head from side to side shifts your orientation on the neural pathway- like turning a steering wheel would.

Lots of fun, even with the headache of the drifting center. If they fix that in future updates, I will definitely update this review.

I don’t know if it matters or not, but I am playing on an iPhone 6, with an Infinite VR Tech headset.

Very well made!
This vr game is very interactive and interesting, and a be games that actually works. The graphics are nice and this idea is unique. The only reason I am rating four is because the storyline is a little bland, but other than very well done!

🧠
This game scares me and triggers my megalophobia. The musics creepy. But I push through it and then suddenly there’s so many huge neurons and dendrocytes at the next level. Theres this huge thing that’s always to the side I don’t like to look at it. I get mild anxiety but I love the game, I play it all the time and try to get a good score!
Screwthisnickname4real,
Great game still, though curious about the original concept
I still think this game is great! But so much changed and I feel like the original concept may have been more unique, or at least could’ve been built up to something more unique. Still, it’s easily the best VR game for cardboard I can find so far
boxypenguin7000,
Great!
My only complaint is not about the game. My complaint is that our necks can’t rotate 360 degrees.

Soothing
This game is really soothing, not much action. That's fine with me - the VR InCell game is much faster paced, so it's a nice change. I'm also kind of committed to helping John achieve a good life, while at the same time not being cruel to him.

Brain
I will give it a 5 because it teaches you more about the brain and how it works
JayLifeSmurf,
Ok game, over heats iphone
Game is repetitive, visuals pretty cool. After playing for five minutes iphone over heated.
Phang10,
Ok..
Pretty interesting, but could have a better plot and more interactive things...
