SmileyKoop,
The very best of all of them
I’m picky. I wanted a timer where I could program prep time, then do a set of 10 with small breaks between each rep, and repeat those sets 4 times with a break in between to change equipment. Then at the end of each I wanted different sounds. One sound for the beginning of the set, one for the beginning of the rest, and one for the end of the whole thing. I tried five different timer apps. Most either couldn’t do what I wanted, or worse, claimed they could do this, but then were so impossible to figure out how to do it that after multiple times I just gave up and deleted the apps. This was the only app that can, which mean the author must actually work out and understand what all you need. Furthermore, even though it sounds nerdy and complicated, she actually made it fairly intuitive to do so. Is it perfect? No. Perfect would be me dictating what I want and then the app intuitively being able to figure out exactly what I want without ever having to touch a keyboard or moving stuff around with click & drags. It will be a while before apps can do that with some precision. In the meantime, this app is as close to perfection as anyone can get. Kudos to the developer.
Stephers Beeeee,
Simple, Easy to Use, Has Essentials
Interval Timer has everything I was looking for, for the days I utilize interval training. Once I opened the app, it was very straightforward. It was worth it to upgrade mine to be able to customize my timers. You can add in the names of your exercises, their times, how many repetitions, whether you want the repetitions to be back to back on same exercise or if you want to create a set within your customized timer to repeat each exercises before repeating whole set again. You can also custom color each exercise (or not) and sound if you’d like. Changing the order of exercises is easy if you make a mistake or just change your mind for your liking. I also love that when you start your timer, it switches to landscape mode to make the timer big and it lists the exercise (and color if selected) with it—view of screen is large and simple and makes easy to read.

It’s a very simple and straightforward app to use. I made the mistake of purchasing another timer prior to this one (the other one was pricey and I couldn’t even customize it the way I can with this app) and requested a refund once I downloaded and used Interval Timer. Can’t go wrong with this one. 👍🏽👍🏽
😃Best game ever!!!!😃,
Honestly this is the best timer app out there
It’s simple and minimal design do not mean it is lacking anything. The timer app is purposeful with what it brings to the table. It doesn’t give you any bells or whistles. It’s less but what it does do it does it correctly. Everything is intuitive from creating a timer to making a set of timers, all the way to edit a timer. There is nothing bad I can say here. My wish is that I wish the creator could expand on the app to have a habit mode one where one could track the number of times one has done certain timers, or check how many days in a row both visually on a calendar and numerically one has started/ finished a timer. But that’s more so something I hope the creator can consider as the app it’s self for the purpose it serves is unparalleled in the App Store. Thank you for your time.
Mezie!56,
Great app!
I would definitely recommend this app to someone. It is simple and easy to use, and I can make my own custom workouts so I can use them on the go. I also love the screen when you are actually working out; it’s really simple, and you see all the information you need. The one thing, however, is you can only create three “timers” (or workouts), unless you want to pay $0.99. You also get other things with the purchase, like more sound effects etc, so I think the one time purchase is worth it. Definitely try this app, you can still use it without paying the dollar, especially if you only do one or two HIIT workouts.
Melfruit,
Completely customizable!
This app is the only thing that keeps my ADHD son on task while brushing his teeth. I set up the intervals as he liked and it turned a frustrating 10-20 min daily ordeal into an easy 2 minute task. Other apps I looked at only allowed intervals in 15 minute increments. This is the only one that you can customize to the SECOND. I quickly purchased the full app. It’s not at all expensive and totally worth it. This simple little program is a sanity saver! The only change I would like to see is a wider variety of sounds available. I highly recommend this app to parents looking for ways to pace activities or keep kids on track. Really, with the flexibility it has, this app has a LOT of creative potential uses.
johnmp832,
Clean interface, easy to use and tons of functionality
I love it because it’s easy to use with a simple interface, and it offers way more functionality than any other timer I’ve found. Just an example of the functionality, if you want to you can set the timer to do 3 consecutive one minute sets with a 10 second set at the end, then repeat that whole thing 5 times and then move onto a complete different set scheme. No other timer I’ve found let’s you do much more than set a single time and do reps with that one time. 10/10 from me
msmuffintop,
Really like it
This is the only timer i found that allowed me to vary my intervals any amount. Many other apps enable me to make sets of 3 minute intervals or 4 minute intervals but NONE of the others allowed me to make the first set 1 minute the next four sets 3 minutes the next pair of sets half a minute etc. this program allows for full customization- which i use for training when i run 🏃🏿 and also for timing yoga poses in a sequence (you can imagine how useful full customization is for these two activities) And the price was only 99cents ! Buy it now 😊
Biggestdongever,
Nice Timer That’s Updated
I got the free version of this timer for yoga and meditation and bought the upgrade within a couple days to get the more mellow alert tones. I was able to access the tones but they wouldn’t save, so the interval tones and final tone would all just be the same annoying beep.

I contacted the owner through the app and they emailed me that day telling me they were aware of the issue and would fix it in the next update. That update came a few days later and they emailed me again to let me know. I was very impressed by that. It’s nice to see app owners who care.

The app works perfectly now - with nice, mellow gong and singing bowl tones - and is exactly what I need.
Agrophile,
Almost perfect.....
I finally found a customizable timer for my bedtime yoga workouts, and I was super excited to try it! Everything was great, until I reached the end of the set. I heard the double beep and thought, “okay, that’s not too bad,” but then it kept repeating until I manually turned it off. I would love to see an option for auto turn-off after the first double beep! It’s a deal breaker for me, since I’m already in bed and having to get up and turn off the timer defeats the purpose of bedtime yoga. I could see this being problematic in other situations as well. Customizable sounds would be nice also. Overall, thanks for a great app!
Kadan1,
Good app👌
It’s great for timing workouts. Especially when you’re going for time under tension instead of reps. The only problem is there is a small pay wall for some less important features. The only one I’ve noticed so far is that if you want a 3,2,1 countdown at the end of a interval you have to buy the upgraded app. I’m also pretty sure you have a limited number of separate timers with the free version of the app (so if you need to have a lot of separate timers this probably isn’t the best app for you). Those are my only problems with the app but otherwise it does what it’s supposed to do and it does it well.
