Great camera, unreliable app
The monitor itself is great, but the app needs a lot of work. It consistently logs out or shuts off during the night leaving us unable to hear our daughter if she cries. I’ve checked and it’s not my Wi-Fi. They’ve claimed to have fixed this issue in the past, but it’s still happening. I hope this gets fixed for good soon. I’ll be happy to amend my review when/if they do.

Slow response and connectivity issues
I love that I can pull up the camera on any device so that we can all have it set on our phones. It’s so slow when adjusting the camera on the app that when I select a specific direction, it takes awhile to register and then the camera is rotated too much. The worst part is that I found my baby crying when the app somehow was stuck in the past showing her sleeping still. It’s not reassuring for me when she starts sleeping in her own room soon. It only happened once that I know of but it’s certainly concerning. Now I’m constantly having to refresh to make sure the camera is live.

Could be better, constant connectivity issues
As others have stated; wifi connectivity is the big drawback with this monitor. I’ve tested my network and it’s solid-so it’s not the issue. The camera disconnects at random-at night in particular…which is the worst possible time for it to happen. We’ve had a few times where our son woke up and we didn’t know due to the camera being disconnected for some random reason.
There was also an issue in the past with clunkiness, but the app has been improved some to address that…. More work to be done!

Absolutely a waste of money
Live view hardly ever works and it works perfectly on my other cams so it’s not my connection. I get motion alerts but video won’t pull up so I have no clue if I’m being robbed or if my dog passed by the camera. On the events list it won’t show me any alerts that happen within the last 2 hours like now on the event page the last video is 905 pm , it is now 11 pm and I’ve gotten at least 10 notifications of sound and motion alerts but not a single video. Highly disappointed and won’t recommend this to anyone, it’s as useless as the fake non working dummy cams

Expected more
I got this camera for a nursery however was unable to keep using it. The camera it’s self is great, the rotation is great. What was the con was the app. The app was well intended but has a lot of bugs (-app shut down multiple times, camera reloads during streaming and freezes or takes forever to work again) it becomes useless for a baby camera. Couldn’t trust the delay. Hope they fix the app or whatever makes it causes the issues. If it’s not the app and it’s a phone issue my apologies. I had my husband try on his phone, same issue.

The camera itself does a lot so it needs a very strong internet connection to function. Households with multiple devices pulling on the internet will cause the camera to loose connection to the wifi.
The app has good intentions however is not consistent. I frequently go into the sleep log and all the data is missing. I restart the app a few times and it comes back. Also because multiple people can be logged into the app at one time changes made by one person don't reflect on the other person’s device. This causes my husband and I to duplicate the sleep log.
The prep time should be optional.

Horrible
I’ve suffered through this camera for a year now. Luckily we can hear the baby pretty much anywhere in the house because you cannot rely on this piece of junk. The live feed NEVER works (it’s not the internet connection either). Sometimes you can get it to load if you feel like waiting a couple min. The alerts are also a joke…5-10 minutes delayed. Even get alerts she’s crying when she’s not in the room. Absolute waste of money. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Too Quiet of Audio on Playback
While I enjoy the camera itself, I want to be able to hear the audio from my baby’s room and after this current software update, it’s so quiet I have to hold my phone up to my ear to hear anything-which really hinders me knowing if her cry was just a noise she made or if she’s actually awake and I need to go get her. Sort of defeats the purpose of having a camera needing to go check on her frequently.

Update has wiped out our video feed
Since the app updated yesterday we have only been able to view the video a couple times. The camera light says it’s connected and working but we can’t see anything in the app. It’s pretty scary not being able to see what’s going on in a 7 month old’s room.

Need TvOS app
Decent app but needs more indicators to show what’s going on with the connection. It’s not always clear if it is the WiFi and the camera, or app causing issues. For the most part restarting the app gets everything going again.
Definitely need a tvOS app. I can’t afford another dedicated iOS device for this!
