Strino,
Put your faith in your pocket.
I never read the Bible but this app takes care of that by allowing you to make use of it wherever you are. I went to the app tonight while searching for comfort and understanding about my daughter who is suffering from severe depression. With this app, support of your faith is on demand. I should only use it more.

In this world where fewer people practice their faith and modern culture is influencing values, I believe the lord works in ways like this app to reach out to us. Never before has any kind of information been so accessible. There’s even an app called Mass Times which makes finding a church and mass easy wherever you are in the world!

As a side note, I am editing this review after writing the first paragraph over a year ago. When I looked up the app to send to my daughter, I had forgotten I wrote that review. It’s well over a year and many prayers later that I write this updated review with the blessed news that my daughter is doing well after deciding to seek help. When I learned that she is praying daily, I thought that I’d send her this app to help her.

Her recovery has strengthened my faith for which this app has been such a convenient help. With all my heart I believe my prayers have been answered and for that I am forever grateful.

The lord certainly works in mysterious ways!
learningalways,
A profound blessing, of great measure...
I would wish to speak to anyone, who might be reading through these reviews, while considering the purchase of this app: DO NOT MISS THE AMAZINGLY GENEROUS AMOUNT OF MATERIAL, MADE AVAILABLE FOR US, BY THE DEVELOPERS OF THIS APPLICATION! After 30+ years as a Reformed Protestant, I have, for the last 10 months, been a student of the Doctrine and Teachings, of the Catholic Church. To my delight and surprise, the apps I've found for the iPhone, relating to that study, have provided a stunning amount of supplemental resources, in support of my RCIA process. To anyone who carries a desire, in their heart and mind, to have their Faith, better formed within them--do not hesitate to make the purchase of this app, towards that end. And may I say, to the developers, by means of your labor, you are contributing to the changes His Spirit makes, in the hearts of men. For it is only as Faith is formed, that freedom is won, hearts are lifted, and minds are made able to receive wisdom and understanding, leaving individuals, marriages, and families, forever changed. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the contribution you have made to my journey of Faith. May Our Lord bless you, and your families.
Appisablasttt,
Best Catholic App out there!
This app is the most resource rich Catholic app out there. Jam packed with resources: the Bible and reading tools, endless writings from the saints, papal documents, commentaries, Catholic Encyclopedia, Catechisms, The Novus Ordo Calendar along with the Traditional Calendar and Mass & readings seamlessly integrated into the app. It has hundreds of prayers and hymns and enables you to pray the Divine Office. I can’t help but shill for this app it’s too good to be free. You can read all of Augustine’s published works and Aquinas’ summa. You will not regret having this app, it is a NECESSARY tool in any Catholic’s App Library!
Love it and all the updates!
Ajax-21,
Disappointed
This app (previously) demanded 5 stars: I am now being generous (as regards functionality) offering 3; my reason for this many (3) is based on content & price [it’s still free, assuming a donation is not provided].

The opening interface offers non-functional Latin Rite options; the search function is completely useless (yes, I was sure to check the box in settings); whereas the books (veritas) download completely upon pressing and holding, now different sections within a particular volume must be downloaded separately.
The continued practice of tightly (and in tiny text) habit over the last several versions of grouping the jump-to categories for prayers is also annoying; increasing the general text size is NOT the answer: doing so effects ALL the text lines, thus increasing eye strain instead of decreasing it.
seven 1,
What a beautiful and expansive work
If you want to pray and learn about Christianity, you won’t go wrong with this app. If you’re Catholic or looking to be Catholic and you want to really deepen your faith and prayer life, you really need this app. I can’t believe the amount of amazing content available here. You get prayers, the Bible, Church councils, Church Fathers, numerous books from numerous saints… I’ve used iPieta for years, and it continues to get better all the time. God bless the creators and those putting forth the effort to make it available to us.
Southpa13,
A must have for every Catholic
This is simply the best app that I have installed on my phone by a long shot. The resources it contains seems unending. Complete bibles, bible commentaries, libraries from the great doctors of the church, important documents from papal authorities, a large selection of prayers, daily mass readings, etc... There are reminders and search tools that can be utilized to help with your prayer life. They are actively improving the app to provide more content and features with each update, as well as keeping up with the changes in iOS versions.
Theres Biland,
This is a GOD sent, it has Everything a Catholic wants to lnow
This is the most complete Catholic app I have come across! It has everything you want to know. The bible, the catechism, ALL the catholic prayers in latin, english and many other languages, important books written by the saints, just incredible. Its all there!! Whoever created this, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! may God bless you abundantly, this app is a masterpiece and can only cone from the one true God, through some faithful servants here on here.
Jediliz,
Love the app except for one thing
After a recent update I lost all my highlights and bookmarks, messing me up from where I was reading my daily scripture. I would bookmark when I finished my chapters for the day so I knew where to start the next day.I also lost all my highlights I had recently started. And also used to have the traditional calendar written in English and I’m not talking about the daily readings where it’s already got the English and Latin I’m talking about the saint or feast day.
Aggravated and highly P.O.-ed,
DEO GRATIAS
This app has been a true resource for me. I love the breadth of the sources listed here, many which span back to a pre-Vatican II understanding of the world and the soul—a topic we are not hearing preached about much anymore. This app changes that! It gets you fired up and inspired to live the Faith; to fight the good fight; to STRIVE for perfection daily. God bless the developers ten, twenty and hundredfold for their labor of love that is, no doubt, saving an untold number of souls.

I just want to add a few suggestions, though:

1. Please consider adding a few biographies of the saints—particularly, St. Dominic and St. Francis of Assisi.

2. Also consider adding some resources about the Church’s various religious orders—like their Rules of Life and such.

Once again, thank you! I can’t wait to see where this app takes me on the spiritual journey!
Goteem8,
Good app, but be wary
This is a good app with a large repository of prayers and Church documents available. However, if you are scrolling through the prayers, be careful, because there are some that are spurious and unapproved by the Church. E.g. the promises attached to the St. Bridget 1-year prayers are not actually approved, even though the prayers themselves are. Also there is a prayer which is purported to save someone from damnation if you pray it over them while they are dying, sounds kinda sketchy. Lots of good stuff in this app, but also some questionable stuff.
