The IQVIA Study Hub app supports your clinical trial journey by providing a platform to interact with study team members, view upcoming visits, complete eDiaries, track study progress, access study related documents and tap into 24/7 support. Study Hub may also securely collect data from certain approved connected devices used in your clinical trial. If the trial requires and is configured to collect data from Apple Watch, Study Hub uses Apple HealthKit to collect heart rate data so that the primary investigator or study personnel can review and monitor it.

Buggy app
The most recent update removed the app from my iPhone. I had to download again. I am iOS 16.0.2 . IPhone 12 Max Pro. In the past I have had to complete the diary multiple times, close the app, reboot and set the diary again to get completion.
Required change to password pop up is the only place time to change password. If dismissed no place to complete password change at users convenience.

Worst App
This is, without a doubt, the worst app I've ever encountered. I'm enrolled in a trial and all it's used for is a one question (yes/no) check-in. When you respond, you get no acknowledgement, and if there's a problem, you can't tell. You can't edit or clear anything, so missed or non-registered check-ins sit in your to do list indefinitely.
They told me I can do a workaround by distinguishing between what's "Available" and what's "Required" on the assignment page. I'll tell you what's a better workaround: a piece of paper with a phone number to call if you have a positive response to report.

Still a pretty poor app
I’ve been using this app for nearly a year and a half. I think there been at least four or five updates during this time. I’ve noticed minor improvements, like it’s easier to login, but the app is still not very helpful to someone and participating in a trial. My key complaints: 1. Unreliable: Since the most recent update, the server used for data logging (eDiaries) is down about 50% of the time and since I currently have to log four times a day I don’t have time to retry later twice a day. 2. Unfriendly: The app provides a todo list, but doesn’t update as you complete items. Instead it seems to replace the list with a new one overnight. Except it doesn’t always do that either;I have todo’s from three weeks ago that I completed but are still on the list.

Entry acknowledgement
Study does not acknowledge user having completed the cold symptom entry. Even if user logs out, then logs back in, study still demands the user answers cold symptom! After the date changes study seems undecided. To clear issue, log out and log back in.

How can someone build an app this bad?
You figure these trial companies have lots of money, and would hire a top notch company to build a quality app. But no! Not in this case! They hire what must be complete idiots, who have no development experience at all, and ask them to create something so buggy and obtuse that it just boggles the mind that it even works at all. A 7 year old kid, with a book in hand, could build something better! And look, they’ve pushed out new versions several times, each one with more bugs and issues. I just don’t get it. Someone needs to get fired, and someone else needs to tell the trial companies to find new services. My trial company even TELLS new participants that the app is buggy and confusing, but they keep using it. Completely baffled here...
