Cloud Service Subscription Service Description

Platinum Cloud $9.99/month ($99.99/ year)
*Prices displayed are for one device, the package price depends on the number of devices.
2. Subscribing to Cloud Service will be paid directly through the iTunes account.
3. 24 hours before the subscription service expires, the system will automatically renew and deduct the corresponding fees according to the plan type.

No motion alerts from camera
This app was suggested by tech support for the iSmartAlarm app when my camera stopped sending push notifications. Worked fine the first few weeks (except the obvious that I’m having to use 2 apps for 1 security system). They’ve recently “changed the algorithm” that is used to send notifications of movement which essentially means I now get no notifications at all. I also no longer get sound notifications like with the other app. Video clips are still saved which is why I gave it an extra star.

What a difference !
I’ve always wondered if iSmartAlarm was ever going to start offering more cloud recording options, and boy did they nail the head with a hammer with this new app .
Here’s what I loved about the new app :
1. Playback feature - finally a way to view an entire weeks worth of video ! You can even fast forward or rewind an entire days worth or video on a single page .
2. Time lapse ?? There’s an option to have an entire days worth or video into a two minute clip .
3. Price for cloud ? Can anyone actually complain about a weeks worth of video for less than $10 a month ? Try other products and you won’t find anything cheaper -
4. Connection ... now I love iSmartAlarm but the old app was hit or miss whenever I tried to view my cameras, in fact most of the time it would take 10 seconds or more to get a live view . This new app is like 1-2 seconds max ! And reliable each time ! Yes it crashes once , but what app doesn’t ? Unless you’re an engineer or app developer who can design something yourself, I wouldn’t be too picky lol
5. Grouping !!!! Finally I can view all four cameras under one screen !
6. Scheduling !!! I’ve been waiting and waiting for iSmartAlarm to allow scheduling for my cameras! You can use ifttt for the main system but nothing for the cameras ! I forget to arm and disarm on a daily, which is obviously my issue, but now I can leave it up to the app!

Mystery Company with no updates or innovation...
This company “ISmartAlarm” opened to rave reviews so I invested money in a full system with sensors and 2 spots 2 Icamera Keep Pros and a motion sensor. System worked great to start but soon app was sluggish. Cameras would fall offline. No new product developed for the last 3 years. Then this new app comes out “pro”. So you would think it would have answered some if not all the concerns. Nope doesn’t hook up to Pro Camera and only recognizes the Spot Camera. Started to think maybe it was a scam for some company to access cameras but it’s just another ISmartAlarm disappointment. Waste of good money and waste of free app. They don’t answer customer calls either by the way. Stay far far away. Too bad seemed great out the box.

The update I’ve wanted with two homes.
The update I’ve wanted for a while.
I have two properties and I had to change homes then close and reopen the app. This new app does away with that. All cameras for both properties in the same place. There wasn’t a home option. So I just created two groups. One for each. So that works for me. Thank you.
I’m now creating schedules. So I can be away from one property or the other or both.

Dangerous! App Randomly Disables both Camera and System
I wanted to like this service because it is very cheap. The app works okay when you first install it.
The problem is that the developer pushes updates at random times and you have to be on your home Wifi network to fix your hardware. If you work outside the home or travel, this is not safe. I constantly receive messages saying “install new firmware” that disable the door alarms and camera. I have to go home to fix the system. You cannot cancel or delay the update.
Fortunately I do not travel a lot or I would never gave a working alarm system.

Not compatible with majority of iSmart’s Own Devices
This app is not useful holistically as it is only compatible with their Spot and Spot+ cameras. Very disappointing.
I have a motion sensor and the other pro cameras but they are not available in this app. So no you gotta have two apps if you want full iSmart Alarm support.
They need to just fix the original app. I will likely have to transition to Nest or a more reliable service despite dropping about $700 on the whole package and decent devices.

highjacking your video files, for monthly fee
This update completely delete your ability
to view the saved video directly on your device. Now with the new update, the only way to view videos from camera is to pay a monthly fee. If this was a good reliable
app maybe it was worth it. But this company is now trying to cash in on its free clients base as last resort before it will lose all its clients due to lack of support.
While the service was free, most users didn't mind keeping the camera. I am getting an identical camera from the competition that has a good app and free video storage. Good Bye ismart Alarm!

New app notifications stopped
Had the old app which is working fine, got a message when opening the old app to download this new app. Once i did that i didn’t realize right away however all notifications stopped. I figured it was the new app because my wife still had the old app and was still getting notifications for doors opening and closing. So i downloaded the old app again now notifications are working. Yes within settings notifications was enabled for this app (newer one).

What a joke! Thanks for the update! I could have found a new system to use. Now I notice my system is down go to fix and bam all these changes. Now I turn to reconnect everything and it will not open to load my products. It’s stuck at adding a camera? Not starting with the cube one main box???

Better than original but still needs work.
App is much faster than the original but you are not able to edit your location which would fix the time on your app. My time stamps are 3 hours off.
