rastyk,
App is great for tracking the International Space Station
I have other general apps or software programs about space that will show me where the ISS is, but this is a fantastic app for keeping tabs on when you can view the ISS in your skies.
I had alerts set that popped up in my calendar with the perfect amount of lead time - without any real thinking or planning on my part. This app makes it easy. Thank you.
Don50IE,
Provides useful and accurate information and easy to use. Thank you.
I have used this many times to view the ISS. App functions as it should and makes keeping up to date on location so easy. I like the extra information on each astronaut and adds to the enjoyment of seeing and knowledge of the specialities of the astronauts. Thanks again for providing this.
Bern7242,
Very interesting, fun, app, for a very senior shut-in.
I am a disabled 86-yr old whose practical “universe” is circumscribed by the walls of my rather small home. Being a life-long space buff, “orbiting” the Earth, via the ISS, gives me hours of amusement and intellectual stimulation both of which are essential for me. The narrow minds apparently reflected by some of the site’s negative reviews are to be pitied.
Internaut,
Don’t go by negative reviews
This is a well made and useful app, a few quirks with the UI, but if you want to track the ISS, see what it is seeing, and plan future viewings.

There are issues with map positioning especially if I drag my finger around to move the map underneath the station. I recommend this is disabled and always keep the ISS centered in the display, zoom in/out is ok. Also, plot the ISS path to show on map where it is/will be tracking over.
DHC-avid-reader,
Fun - refinements possible.
This is a fun app; a few things that might be improved. For example, allow control over the track pass "accuracy" e.g. 10° above horizon versus 80° above horizon.
Another suggestion would be to have the Zoom scale stay stable while the location updates; currently the zoom resets with every update of location. Or make that a Settings option (auto-reset of zoomed view).
ok ther Debbie,
My Fave!
I like that I get the specifics of where it will come up and which direction it will be heading. I also do the spotthestation notifications but this app gives me more potential sightings. There is a lot of other information on here too.
Rosea1,
Great update!
Very nice update. New icons for the Apple Watch app, the globe looks good on iPhone and iPad, and the Webb background is spectacular. Other new features too — I’m still exploring it. In my opinion, still by far the best of the ISS apps!
Uplinksteve,
HDEV
EXTREMELY disappointed that the HDEV is gone, it was my primary purpose in getting the app. I understand this is not your fault, but it is extraordinarily discouraging. For years I have used those views to go to sleep too.
WD8N,
Absolutely fantastic
I’ve followed the ISS for many years now.
This app is by far the most accurate and a pleasure to use
GeeSweets,
It’s for general information. Not a science experiment.
It’s a good app for basic info. Certainly room to grow but I like being able to see when and where and some of the views afforded by this app.
