This app is amazing. I have been using it all season with my 13U Travel Volleyball Team. There is a bit of a learning curve trying to keep up with the live rallies. But it doesn’t take long to get the hang of it. After the first match I was able to show the girls where their serves went (hello spray charts). Instantly they could see the good serves from the errors. After after game and even during time outs they would ask for updates on the data. It has really motivated them to get better in certain areas.
There is so much data that is calculated in the app. I am able to show the girls their growth in number of attacks they are taking a n a game or the number of unforced errors. Or how their first touch is helping or hurting them.
The spray charts and color coding are awesome. So easy for the players and their parents to quickly see how they are doing.
I like setting up line ups before the match. Then being able to quickly swap in the libero or pre define a sub poring.
Anytime I have questions the support team is right there quick to respond and guide me to the solution. They are super responsive and always coming up with new enhancements to make the scoring easy.
I would strongly recommend having a dedicated person to keep score during a match. It is too much for a coach to try to do this and truly watch the entire play unfold.

Long time user.. LOVE it.
I have used iStat for going on 5 years now, and I will always recommend it. Being able to see detailed live stats in the match is so helpful, and the interface helps us keep track of rotations and I’m able to fix issues on the court before they happen! I use the legacy version right now, because it’s what I’m used to, but I’m excited to give RallyFlow a try too! The only thing I would tweak is the way you pull stat reports. This version is much better than the last but I would prefer to be able to customize the summary table so that I can add in exactly what stats I want to see without it being on different pages.

Off to a bad start
I received an email from iStatVball to join my team. I followed the instructions in the email but only got the example team. Tried signing out and back in, deleted and reinstalled the app, tried to delete and recreate my account, nothing worked. Send an email to support, no word back. Seems this app has some issues despite the good reviews and ratings from past years.

IStatVball cleared my info, I recreated my account, everything came up as expected. I will update again after we play a few matches and can try out the app. It does seem promising.

Always satisfied with this app
I typically do not review apps, however this app truly is fantastic and should be shared. The functionality of this app is just wonderful. I use this for not only my high school program but also my club program. There has not been one time I was not satisfied. It is user friendly for all ages, easy to use in live play stats, and provides so much quality information. If you’re looking for a high quality app to help you provide solid data to improve your program and help in your players recruiting process, download iStatVball 3.

Absolute best vball app and support!
I’m not one to write a lot of reviews, but I must for this app. iStatVball 3 is an awesome update to its very solid iStatVball 2 predecessor. It currently offers just about every way a coaching staff would want to assess their team’s performances and the developers are constantly working on more features. BY FAR the best volleyball stat-keeping app on the market, creating instantly what used to take us hours after each match.
Secondly, their customer service / support could not be better. They promptly and kindly address each and every crazy question I come up with. I could not recommend this app strongly enough.

Amazing, professional, and worthy!
After using iStatVball 2 for many years, I decided to upgrade to iStatVball 3. Wow, what a difference! It was pretty easy to use right from the get-go and it became easier the more I used it. I love the hitting and serving charts because you can show your players exactly where they’re concentrating their attacks. The reports look professional and they can be customized to analyze almost any stat you can think of. By far the best investment any school or club can make to track their player’s performance.

I don’t usually write reviews, however because I wasted time/$ on another app, I’m taking the time to help other busy coaches if I can. So I’m not tech savvy, at all, but have coached a lifetime, and all I have to say is Oh Wow, why the heck didn’t I do this years ago. Game changer for me. With all our other team expenses, especially during this time, is it really worth it? Yes it is, promise you. It’s as important to me, in such a short time, as our balls or uniforms. Oh and special thanks for helping an old timer like me get things going with the app. You have a special thing here.

Absolutely best volleyball stat app!
I have downloaded just about every volleyball stat app, and this one is by far the best! I was skeptical at first at learning their new way of tracking stats, but wow it is so much easier! There are definitely little things that can be improved or features added (such as editing stats after a game), but this is still the best app out there without them.
I’m excited for the future and to keep getting better at RallyFlow.

So easy and convenient
I started stating for my high school team using pencil and paper. The other coaches and I needed more data while we were stating. We wanted to setting hitting percentages, hot spots, side out percentages, errors etc and this app does all that! It is so easy for just one person to use and during time outs we can share this information with our players so that they can terminate the ball. This has been so nice for us this year!

AWESOME app for stats!
This was the second app I downloaded for stats — first was free because I wanted to try keeping stats this way, and next to impossible. Someone then pointed me to iStatVball, thankfully, and it’s seriously fantastic. Surprisingly quick and easy to learn and the amount of calculations it does (I have it set on the medium level) is unreal. So incredibly helpful for our team. Love that I can go back and edit a server when the libero sneaks in and I miss it!
