GregKDeal,
Nice app, but I’m too slow
This is a nice app, but I’m just too slow to use it when I am covering high school football for the newspaper. I tried but couldn’t keep up. For those who can, you have to love the app. You can export game summaries in Associated Press format to email to newspapers. For the creators: It would be nice if we could import rosters from MaxPreps or even notepad or email. I had to type in all the names on the two rosters. I’m going to try the app again during an upcoming game because it’s a nightmare to keep stats the way I have for 25 years. It did crash a few times on me, which was not good; however, I’m sure you’ll work that out. Overall, this app is a very nice tool. As a longtime newspaper editor and writer, I can tell you that any newspaper would be thrilled to get the exported results from this app. Good work.
brc1,
Solid App that can get even better
Works great. I’ve switched to this app after using Digital Scout last year. I have a few suggestions:
- Show the game clock time (vs. the time of day) in the play by play section of the email export
- Fix the time of possession calculation. In a 48 minute game that I scored today there was a total of over 59 minutes of possession. I’ve even had negative times of possession
- Move the Tackle & Assist fields so that they are above the “Adv to” (or “Sacked at”) field for all play types
- Sort the Players by most recently selected so we don’t have to scroll as much for higher numbers
- Give an option to edit (vs. remove) the last play
- Sort the penalties list alphabetically
- Don’t erase the Receiver field when switching between “Recep” & “Incomp”
- Add the “Drives” info to the email export
- Increase the price of the app so that you are well compensated for such a good app. I’d hate to lose this app because you couldn’t make enough from subscriptions to cover your costs. (That seems to be what happened to Digital Scout.)

I have downloaded this app, paid for the full version which I believe is a great price for what your getting, entering a game live is pretty simple; why I’m giving it a 2 star rating, is the app should be pulled for false advertising the option in the full version are not currently available, customer service is very responsive I gave screen shots they sent me an instructions book but the sheer fact the screens they show are not even available to click on like not there; they respond with all the great things customer service does but they say 4-6 weeks to fix; I get that if I found a in depth bug but you're not even providing what your selling

Would like to see hot buttons added for offense players who run and catch and throw the ball!!! Hot buttons for total game stats, individual stats, drives, and plays. This app could be much better!! Also maybe a way to share with Facebook!
Der Perfesser,
NOT User Friendly!
Having found great apps for baseball and basketball score keeping, I was hopeful that this app would meet my needs for football. I have been giving it a good try, and I’m not ready to give up on it yet! There are a lot of good things to say about this app, but it just seems to be too cumbersome, especially if I make a mistake, or if there is a changed call on the field. By the time I go back to edit something, which usually results in my deleting it and starting over, the next play has already been run, and I’m hopelessly behind!! I’m no computer expert, but there must be some ways to streamline things so it runs a little more smoothly. As I said, I’m not ready to give up on it yet!
Mjtrues,
Stats
Has worked great. This has replaced digital scout for me. It appears to be missing a fair catch or not returned option on punt returns. The running time gets me often and having to manually stop and start the clock for possessions. It would also be nice to have the program automatically move the ball across the 50 vs having to pick the teams side of the field.

All in all, after one game, it’s been a good 5 dollar buy
junk 12/24,
Arena football?
Love the app and highly recommend it! I wonder if there’s any chance you could make a small change for the length of the field and add a 50 yard field? You’d also have to have kickoff from the 0 yard line, but that’s all the changes necessary! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
SCAPL64,
Has potential, but not worth $4.99.
Used this app to track stats for a high school game. It worked for the most part, but needs work. Editing the game while watching film is impossible. You can’t add plays. The process for each play is not streamlined enough. Needs to be faster. Needs major updates and bug fixes.
Happy it's above freezing!,
Amazing tech support.
I had originally given a low score because of a crashing issue but the online tech support is so amazing I’m changing it to 5 stars.
Buckwheat Jimmy,
5 stars *****
It works great, the best one out there. I tried a different app before this one but it was so awful
