goingsbehrens,
Love this app
This is a goo learning app children love . My 18 month old uses it while we are shopping . It keeps her content while I get my groceries 😊. She loves the squirrel getting the peanuts . She is counting along with him . The Chile leans cause and effect as they touch different parts of the screen . Thx ☺️
Hawaiian Tinkerbell,
We play with this every day!
My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves this app- I wish we could find more entertaining books like this one! Ay first I couldn't believe the music they used.... but it's perfect and we try to make the spider move to the beat of the music. There is water that comes down the spout and you can touch it and hear the water rushing. Just when you think you have discovered all the cute little surprises that you can make happen...you find more! It's silly but fun to hunt the colored eggs and have the spider take them back up the water spout. On the roof is a little squirrel that will count nuts & there are hats that drop on the spider when you touch them- it's something we do every night before bedtime and really worth the price.

Bad update
Have *LOVED* this app for years but it recently updated and now it won't open at all. Very disappointed!
Tiff227,
Boring
I don't know what app these other people are reviewing. There are only four scenes and these are just different quadrants of the space around the drain. It's very easy to know what is going to happen next. It's very boring - my 10 month old found it boring after less than 2 minutes and she will play other (better) apps for a long time. The interactivity is very limited and there are only two "projects" to work on (collecting peanuts and eggs) and I have yet to figure out if there is ever a "reward" for collecting the eggs. The bug voice is much too soft and very difficult to hear relative to the other sound effects. This is NOT a storybook. "the itsy bitsy spider" is sung by someone with a ridiculous and difficult to understand voice (there is no way young children would be able to understand him) and the spider moves up and down the drain and into the garden. Itsy bitsy spider is a short poem - not a story. I assumed, based on the claim that this was a story book, that they had taken the poem as inspiration for a story. Not at all. I think if it was 2009, I might be impressed. In 2012, it gets a star for having pretty graphics and that's it. As a learning tool it's totally useless and definitely not worth $2. You can't even make it more advanced by buying additional levels. Huge disappointment.
JMIHDX,
Very nice quality...pics, sound, interactive triggered animations
I was a little skeptical about some of duck duck moose's offerings, but very very pleased that I decided to buy several of them anyway. Now we own them all. My autistic 3 year old loves itsy bitsy spider, wheels on the bus and old mcdonald programs. The interactive motion and quality of the music / sound are superb. Even the girl holding the umbrella moves...and who wouldn't like to ask her on a date. lol Can't wait for their next offering. Highly recommended for young toddlers and autistic kiddos.
Maryalicia,
My 3 year Special Needs Daughter loves it
When she first started playing it 5 months ago she only hit the spider, but now she engages all aspects of this app. The colors are beautiful and there are so many 'surprises'. Almost everything you touch does something, and sometimes does different things upon touching. Well worth the $1.99 (Never had any glitches)
RebsGirl,
Very cool
I couldn't imagine why this app would be 2$ if it was just the itsy Bitsy spider song. It is a lot more! My son (2) is going to really enjoy this and he can learn a lot for years to come! It even has an interactive counting part and a part where you can put hats on the spider. He loves apps that are super-interactive like this. The developers really understand what kids like and need in an app.
shiny_side_up,
Love it!
My 18-month old toddler adores this app - it's his favorite. He loves how he can touch different items on the screen, and they all do something different. He especially loves how the caterpillar turns into a butterfly. This keeps him occupied for about 15 minutes of straight concentration. He has a lot of fun with it at this age.
Friendly4,
So much to do!
My 16 month old twins love this app, and have figured out how to navigate through it pretty quickly. There are so many actions to be found in this app that sometimes I find myself becoming engrossed in it too! It's a really fun app with lots to find. Recommended from this family!
PottedMeat3,
Dont waste your money
The male voice singing itsy bitsy spider is just creepy as everyone else has mentioned. I cant understand why the developers thought that would be appropriate for a small children's app.
My son doesnt keep it open longer than 15 seconds, before he moves on to another app.
Not certain, but i am fairly sure it is the creepy singing.
I also wish i had paid more attention to the reviews and not purchased this one.
