iVoyages (formerly iTrek) is Super Star Trek re-created for the iPhone and iPad.
Super Star Trek is quite possibly the best of the "Star Trek" games from the 1970's. Of course, it does not make use of graphics, or even assume a video display, but it still an interesting game to play, particularly for those of us who don't have the reflexes we used to and prefer a more cerebral computer game.
You are Captain of the starship "Leviathan" (name changed for copyright reasons) with a mission to seek and destroy a fleet of Klingoff warships which are menacing the United Federation of Planets. You have a specified number of stardates in which to complete your mission. You also have a few Federation Starbases for re-supplying your ship.
You will be assigned a starting position somewhere in the galaxy. The galaxy is divided into an 8 x 8 quadrant grid. Each quadrant is further divided into and 8 x 8 section grid.
You have nine commands available to you. Use these commands to take sensor readings, warp around the galaxy, destroy Klingoffs with photon torpedoes or phaser fire and much more! Tap the commands at the bottom of the screen to play the game.

Old game
I remember this game from the days of basic language. I love it!!! The only downfall is the old game you could adjust the time limit and enemy number and this game you can't. Brings me back to my teenage years!

Almost Playable
I've played several implementations of this game since I first encountered it in 1980. This one suffers because the UI needs to embrace the platform it's written for. It is *very* cumbersome to enter data. But worse than that, the game is nearly impossible to win. Most missions cannot be completed. I played dozens for I got a win. Fix these problems and I'd be happy to update my review.

Perfect implementation of the mainframe classic
A flawless implementation of the Classic dumb terminal super Star Trek simulation. People who are complaining don’t know what they are talking about.

Needs a keyboard
I too have enjoyed playing this game over the years, but as all of the user moves are text entries, you are pretty well screwed without a physical keyboard. The digital one is cumbersome to use. I think this game has reached it's expiration date. Let it go.

How do you Dock the StarShip, I am right next to the star base and nothing happens, I need to recharge my crystals and load a couple of torpedoes Or Is there a website that help you learn how to play the game

Excellent Text Trek
Fun game that, with minimal fuss, really does feel like Star Trek.
Two small complaints:
1. The manual could be a bit clearer and have more examples.
2. I'd like for there to be some way to always have command options onscreen. For example, being able to tap buttons rather than having to pull up the keyboard, type a command, pull it up again, type in a number.
But even if those complaints are never addressed iTrek is a great game and worth buying.

This game has no graphics and is yet the game that comes closest to feeling like star trek
