Helpful app - easy to use
I was skeptical of using another app but I have found this safety app to be very valuable. It’s really smooth and fast and easy to use. I like the interface how it’s very simple but does everything I need it to. Living in a city I see soooo much crime on a weekly basis. I have tried recording some violence but quickly realize that calling the police is a better use of my time. However I can’t get video footage while I’m calling the cops. I love that this app can do both at the same time and send my husband and kids my exact location. I don’t like to feel scared in my own city and this iwitness app helps me with that. If anything, at least download their free month and check it out.

Pretty cool app
This app is pretty cool. My parents got it for me and it has some good features. Like I can be recording something bad happening in my neighborhood between kids and it’s automatically notifying my mom where I’m at. So she knows where to get me and that cops are being called also.

I use this app because I open and close my own business and as a woman it makes me a little nervous.

Lights. Camera. Safety.
There are other apps that call 911 and alert family or friends, but iWitness on top of doing those things evolves the idea by being able to capture video and audio that is stored securely in the cloud. It's nice to know that if you encounter a problem you'll have this video record of the event. The app also allows you to activate by touching your screen or shaking your phone. It's easy to use and perfect for making yourself a little safer or giving to someone is your life you care about to make them a little safer.

Keeps me feeling safe at all times!
I think this is a great idea and never seen anything like it. While I haven’t had to use it yet, It keeps me at ease knowing that wherever I am, I am always protected if something happens. I like how it notifies emergency contacts and sends your GPS location as well, this comes in super handy. One thing I think would help more is if the app were compatible with Siri or Apple Watch just in case there is a time I can’t open my phone fast enough and get to the app.

A No Brainer!
Installed this app a couple of days ago and have used it every night walking to/from the bus stop after work. I get off after dark and it makes me feel a little more secure knowing that I can record my surroundings just in case something were to happen.

Great app for the whole family!
Not only do I feel safer, but my older kids who walk a mile to school feel safer too. It's easy to use and gives parents one less thing to worry about, knowing their childs safety is only a few clicks away.

The key features beyond 911 calling do not work
Granting access to the application in iOS is not detected by the app. Repeatedly asks for access. Does not send either real or Demo Mode (turns off only 911 access) video despite access and record button timer indicating video is being captured. After repeated sends nothing is sent and no real or Demo Mode output is sent to either the emergency contact OR the cloud storage. In an emergency this would be impossible to navigate and entirely unreliable.
