App and Intranet Improvements
In the Micorosft 365 Files widget and Microsoft 365 Document Library Widget, opening files from the widgets was improved and unified for app and intranet. Now, on mobile devices, the files open in the mobile browser. On all devices, many different file types can be previewed through the link. Furthermore, you can view login-protected content without additional login as the link contains a temporary access token.
The Launchpad now supports RTL languages and displays the interface correctly from right to left. For the native apps, this requires to submit a new app version to the app stores.
In the Files Manager, a message is now displayed when uploading files with different filter settings than the uploaded file type. For example, the message is shown if you filter by text files and upload a video file.
In Chat, it is now possible to restrict the type of files to image, video, and audio files only. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more.
The authentication for the Google widget and the Google search integration are now aligned and work in the same way.
