This is why we are asking for your stories. We strive to share as many diverse stories as we can. Your stories will be used to help people learn and measurably grow by building their skills in empathy.
Your experiences are important, and sharing them will allow others to learn from you. We recognize that every person is unique and that their stories live at the intersection of specific times, places, and various aspects of their identities.
Our aim is to connect people to stories that both share and have differences across these dimensions.
Your experience within the Jaago app involves sharing a little about yourself by creating an intersectionality profile. Your profile will be used to match you to other storytellers' stories that help build your empathy superpower. Your data will never be shared with anyone, so please share to the level that you feel comfortable.
Within the application you will be able to upload your own 3 minutes or less stories, watch crowdsourced stories from others, practice empathy by answering questions proceeding the stories, reviewing your answers, reflection questions, and measuring your score. You will be able to explore various themes as Jaago will design a unique journey for you. This is a judgement free private space for you. Please watch, grow, and share to help build the community of people that understand one and another.
If you find any stories that do not meet our rules and guidelines you can flag them for review. We will review all stories to ensure they align with our guidelines. Any stories that do not meet our guidelines will be immediately removed.

Watch and tell stories to build empathy
The world needs more empathy and Jaago can help. It’s super easy to share your story and to watch others’. It can be difficult to think of a story to share at first, but you can find courage in watching others’. And the app gives prompts to help you think of a story to share.
I enjoy watching the stories from differing perspectives. I’m excited to watch more stories tomorrow.

Great App
Before covid, I would travel a lot. My favorite thing about traveling was hearing people's stories from around the world. Jaago satisfies part of my hunger for hearing different perspectives.

I love that I get to hear real people’s experiences and interact but I can’t log in
