Truly Knowledgeable and Amazing
When I suffered an injury over two years ago I explored every avenue, in not only relieving my pain, but also in getting my quality of life back. Chiropractor, orthopedist, massage therapy, kryo-therapy, acupuncture, MRIs and physical therapy. I resorted to a standing desk at work, CBD oil and a tens unit when I slept. At 50 years old I thought this was my new normal. I was introduced to Sean and I was intrigued by the depth of our discussion and the digging he did into all of my symptoms. I went into a program with him cautiously, but in a matter of 3-4 weeks there was a significant change not only in my pain but also in what my body was tolerating. I was back on the treadmill and the day I cleaned house (mopping/vacuuming)with no pain afterwards I knew something was changing. I’m slowly getting stronger and my body is tolerating more physical movement and daily activities with little to no pain. Sean is the one who consistently reaches out to me and builds my program from the feedback he gets from me. It’s been about 8 weeks and although I am not back in the gym yet lifting weights. I do believe with Sean in my corner there are no limits to what I can accomplish. He has literally saved me from wanting to give up on my life. I just celebrated my birthday and as I sat at dinner pain free, laughing and enjoying my life I was so overwhelmed with emotion and for the first time in over two years felt hopeful about my future. Pain-Free thanks to this App!
As a 33-year old former college athlete who continues to work out 5-6 days a week, I thought I knew everything there was to know about health and fitness…until I realized I didn’t. A 15k race earlier this year sidelined me from every lower body exercise I used to enjoy. Every time I tried to bend, my knees felt like they were going to split open. So I rested. I iced. I avoided the stairs at work. I took Advil and Epsom salt baths. But I found no relief.

Then, enter Jacobs Fitness. Sean listened as I laid out where I THOUGHT I was injured, and I trusted him to take it from there. He built a program that was tailored to my needs. The program includes a variety of lower body stretches and exercises. And I discovered through his program is that my injuries were NOT in my knees. They were in my hips and groin. Without Jacobs Fitness, I would have never known that. Nor would I have known how to heal my body.

I just completed my third pain-free run since starting the program. And I will continue to start EVERY workout with the program that Jacobs Fitness built for me. The app is easy to use. And the trainers are always available. You really do have to build a stronger chain to build and maintain a stronger body. So thankful for JF.

Jacobs fitness saved me
I tore my Achilles’ tendon in fall of 2020 and after months of tedious recovery and rehab, my PT folks said that I had “completed” my recovery even though I still couldn’t run or get after it like I used to. As a former college athlete I just couldn’t accept this and began digging around for ways to get my body back. Que Sean and his comprehensive, scientific, and person-centered approach to healing and recovery. His plan was not easy by any means, but through his creative and back-to-basics approach and a lot of hard hard work I was not only able to level up my Achilles recovery, but also get at some of the core imbalances that have led to me being injury prone for years. The result? I have been mountain trail running MONTHS ahead of schedule, getting after it with a big fat smile on my face. So so much gratitude to Jacobs fitness for the role they played in my getting my body and life back!!

An Extension of Sean’s Amazing Personal Training
I have worked with Sean for about a year both in person and via Jacob’s Fitness App. I’d highly recommend both. Sean is expertly able to help others understand how to use their bodies more effectively to enhance performance and also to reduce pain. The Jacob Fitness App is like an extension of Sean that is available whenever and wherever you need it.

The Jacob Fitness App provides exercise programs specifically designed by Sean for each individual client as well as some general programs. It also has videos so you can see how each exercise is done as well as the ability to track both your workouts and your nutrition.

Over the past year Sean has taught me how to have greater muscular balance. He is an incredible diagnostician and is able to figure out why one area hurts and how to open it up and strengthen it. He is also pleasant to be around and super positive. As a result, the chronic pain I experienced for years before working with Sean is a distant memory.

My favorite aspect about the app is it gives me increased access to Sean and his programming! Totally worth it!

Top Notch Workout App
Well designed and easy to use workout app. I’m a professional athlete who has been using the app for about 6 months now and have seen big time results thanks to program. Simple design that allows for customization with factors like tracking weight and rep range. Schedule feature is great for staying on track and seeing progress over time. Allows for detailed training instructions from coach without seeming clustered or interfering with workout pace. 10/10 would recommend.

Injury Recovery and Mitigation
When I started working with Sean, I could barely walk or lift my arm without pain due to hip and shoulder injuries that I’d been dealing with for over a decade. I met with Sean and he put together a program using this app specifically tailored to my needs. Within months, I was pain free and I’ve had better range of motion than I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this program for anyone who is dealing with similar injuries or mobility issues. Highly effective and easy to use.

This is phenomenal
The App is simple, well organized, and very user friendly. The personalized content integration of the programming with the calendar is great. The videos are super digestible and make it easy to follow the movements. And the training is top notch. I’ve gotten rid of both hip and ankle pain in a few shorts. I’ve also improved my squat form and am getting stronger because I’m moving more naturally again. I can’t recommend this app and the content enough!

Very helpful, and easy to use!
I don’t live close to any gyms that offer personal training services. My apartment gym is my best option, due to my busy schedule. This app has been so convenient and makes me feel like I don’t need an in-person trainer. It’s very easy to schedule assessments and training sessions with your trainer on here. This really helps track my progress and keeps me accountable!

Easy to understand and easy to follow
I love this. Aside from the app being easy to use and the programs ease to follow, what I truly enjoyed was the explanation of how your body needs to be positioned and how you need to move in order to do each movement the right way.

Discipline and convenience
I’m a former college basketball player and have found it hard to stay atop the latest in fitness structure and discipline.

I wanted the best training and teaching, but I don’t have time for the gym, to go and search for it, or have someone hovering over my every move.
