Updated and improved
Got contacted by a developer after posting an unhappy review. The changes I complained about have been promptly fixed. Other improvements were made, too.
While this game can be very slow at times, I have played it for several years and have gotten much enjoyment.
What’s happened to the Realore count? Can only assume you want players to think the Realore have been deleted so we’ll spend money to buy energy rather than exchanging for it. Bah! This game just gets worse and worse. Last update you decreased the ‘free’ time from 4 to 2 minutes. Another slow down in hopes players will get impatient and spend their gold (and their money) to speed things up. It would be great if you actually made the game better when you do an update but never appears to be the goal. Very disappointing.

Love this game
I have been playing this game for quite some time and am currently level 40. I have gone through several updates. The last update made producing items much more interdependent which I do not mind as it is more realistic. The one thing I really do not like in this version is that when you go to update a factory they show you the price and when you have enough money to do it you click the update only to find that you now need additional resources to actually update it, for example I clicked to update the canning factory and find out that I need 135 rolls of paper to do it and so the factory is locked up until I can collect the paper. Since the quests are usually 2 different items this prevents me from completing those also. Providing the money and any items needed in the upgrade cost information would be extremely helpful. I hope you will take this into consideration. The game is great and I love the graphics and that Gramps and Gramma walk slower.

Unlimited energy & rewards
Please bring 4 hours unlimited energy back for gold coin purchase! I would rather pay $6 on gold coins and use them on 4 hours of unlimited energy at different times then to pay $6 on a bundle of wood, brick, and only 2 hours of unlimited energy. 1-2 hours of unlimited energy doesn’t get me anywhere since most crops that make me money takes 6+ hours to grow, and I can get the brick and wood myself. I would much rather have the 4 hours, then I feel I can get a little ahead. You can still do specials with the 1-2 hours unlimited energy bundles and let us purchase the 4 hours with gold.
Also, the rewards for the tasks are awful! 20-30 silver and a couple of experience points and you take away a lot of produce. None of the produce give that much of a payout for growing. With the limited energy, it takes quite a long time to stock up, and then it’s taken away for not much reward at all.
This game is nothing like it used to be. It’s sad, all the fixes are easy, yet ...I keep holding on for dear life, playing this game in hopes it will get better, become a fragment of the fun it used to be. I’m about ready to throw in the towel😔

Visually appealing but don’t be fooled; something inevitably breaks.
One of the best looking farming games for iPad. Seems like a relaxing way to pass the time. Eventually a person gets invested, wants to move things forward and so you invest more time and then money on the farm you created. And then poor grandma gets stuck in the wooded area above the bus shelter. Tapping the animals or pens says there is no path with the pen fence itself blinking as if that’s the barrier. At the same time, the tree blocking grandma also blinks but this tree is immovable. So there she sits, knitting in the woods, unable to contribute to the farm. As a player, you eventually run out of the eggs, milk, wool and so on and without these resources, game play comes to a halt.
This isn’t a one off. For everyone who takes the time to file a ticket (which is ignored) or write a review, there are likely 50 players who don’t bother, cut their losses, and delete.
As cute as this game is, my advice is don’t bother. There are plenty of other farming games with more reliable functionality and responsive developers. Don’t be seduced. Go elsewhere.

Eats your coins
I started playing this game about a month ago and really like it, but now I’m encouering more and more glitches. I purchase items I have worked for for days finally buy it and Puff sudden reboot in the middle of playing and my purchase is gone and the money as well. It’s getting kinda annoying because I cannot really move on. Please try to fix this and make this game more stable and IF there is a reboot please make sure at least the info doesn’t get lost.
So after playing a few more weeks, the instability is getting worse. Just lost all my progress on my trains and cars. Was all the way to “take” my 80 this morning which I achieved yesterday evening and bam. Back to zero progress and reset the clock to waiting SIX DAYS. what a bummer needed to make some money with the20 minutes of unlimited energy. So disappointing.
AND so far not a peep from customer support. I play this game to relax, not to get aggravated.

Why did you get rid of the unlimited energy options?!
Not happy! Loved this game on Big Fish and have been enjoying it on my iPhone until an update yesterday that took away the option to purchase unlimited energy for 1 hour, or 2 hours. I spent money for this feature, which let me enjoy the game at my own pace - skipping past levels if I wanted or taking it slower.....well long story short, when I’ve used up all my gold coins I will be deleting this game - unless you bring back the unlimited energy options.

Got worse
I really want to like this game because I used to play when I was little. But there are just too many glitches for me to really enjoy it. Right now the tasks for the league competition aren’t showing up. In the past, there’s been other glitches, such as the husband and grandpa get stuck in this weird phase where they’re just bending down and getting up over and over again. There’s no confirmation when you spend gold, so I’ve accidentally wasted hundreds of pieces of gold. Building/upgrading any factories or buildings takes an excessively long time (over 24 hours which means you can’t do certain actions until the husband is free). Sometimes the game glitches and closes suddenly and abandons anything you did during that time. Trying to go to your friend’s farm takes so much work, it never works on the first try. This used to be my favorite game but there’s too many problems now.

Zero Response from Customer Service
I played this game years ago and decided to do it again. With the newest update recently came the pumpkin side game. All was well until the game obviously glitched out and prohibits me from moving forward or getting anymore pumpkins. At the time of my first post to customer service, I was in 1st place with 703 pumpkins and the 2nd place person only had 664 and was going to get 100 gold coins as the reward. However, it's now been 4 days with no response from customer service, and I've lost my position and lost out on 50 gold coins. To call it Customer Service is being nice. 1 day I get. 2 days is a stretch, but ok. 3 or 4 days with not even a response or a "we'll look into the problem" is a bit rediculous. What's the point of posting a problem if it won't be even looked at? The game itself beside the glitch I give 5 stars. The Customer Service I would give 0 if I could.

Not to happy
When I first started this game I really liked it. But after playing it for a month and spending $60 I’m not very happy. Why is it that when I go to help a friend I come back and it takes me to a place that I’ve already done and things are not left the way they were when I went to visit a friend. Plus half the time it doesn’t give you your daily gifts. I’m signed in with google I’m signed in with Facebook so I don’t know why it’s not saving my progress the right way. But like I said I did spend $60 on this game this month only for half the time of me to come back and things not be how they should so for this problem I’m only giving you two stars and I’m not sure if I’m even going to keep this game. Because I don’t wanna waste anymore money for progress that doesn’t keep track of!!!!! Please fix this problems... Thanks!!!!

Don’t buy anything
Well this started off being one of my favorite games until it was lost. It was lost because it told me to upgrade to the new version. Which took everything away and lost my progress. I link to Facebook did all the things that you’re supposed to do so that you don’t lose your game but of course it was still lost. And from the very beginning they can’t figure out how to sync my tablet with my phone. So every time I go to work and try to do progress on my break I loose everything that I did the night prior. Not sure how I’m supposed to play the game at this point. So I deleted it on my phone and kept it on my tablet. And I’m still not gonna purchase anything. I don’t want rate for anything at this point because what I wanted is gone. So unfortunately I have to still give it one star.
