Nonograms appeared at the end of the 20th century and became popular all over the world. They are also known as Japanese crosswords, Japanese puzzles, Japanese drawings, PathPix, Griddlers, Paint by Numbers, Picross, hanjie etc.
Japanese crossword is a very popular puzzle game.
In the Nonograms, unlike conventional crosswords and arrowwords, a picture instead of words is conceal by means of numbers.
Please have a look at these black-n-white Nonograms. They are divided into several groups by resolution depending on the crossword width and height.

All Nonograms have their own single solution.
The grid is formed by horizontal and vertical lines. Numbers on the top and on the left show the sequence order of blocks of filled-in squares horizontally and vertically correspondingly. The blocks are unbroken, and two nearby blocks must have at least one empty (unfilled) cell in between.
The blocks follow one another exactly in the order shown by the corresponding numbers.
Nonograms are solved in the following way:
– First, you need to determine which cells are to be filled;
– Second, you need to determine which cells cannot be filled: these are marked with crosses.
This process is repeated until the crossword is solved.

enjoy app
Nonogram is an application JCross bring good thinking ability and quality. The graphics are simple, but the new game fascinated me and everyone plays. Each screen will have a different way of playing, the feeling of difficulty will increase gradually. The app has some new features, such as light and dark color scheme support, more than a thousand of free japanese width and height crosswwords of various size. Hope to see many of the newer updates from the app.

Repeat puzzles, some unsolvable
The interface on this app is pretty good--not my favorite, but way, way better than most other ones. I appreciate the no-frills app and the sheer number of puzzles included. BUT. There are several repeated puzzles. I haven't gotten through all that many, and I've done that one same anchor puzzle in the Small section at least 3 times. And some of the puzzles are unsolvable without guessing. I've done my fair share of nonograms of many sizes, but some of these just aren't logically possible. Thanks for all the puzzles, but I'm getting frustrated doing the same ones over and over again and with having to abandon puzzles that aren't designed properly. I recommend doing a once-over on your puzzles to check for duplicates and problems in the designs.

I love this game. It would make it harder to use without them and would make it harder to use without them and would give the same enjoyment of solving a conventional crossword puzzle. It's really fun. It keeps my attention and isn't difficult enough to lose my interest. I really like the clues since they don't related to celebrities or other obnoxious tidbits the average person wouldn't know. Great develop.

This is a fantastic game when you are all alone and are in need of some of kind of puzzle to di. I started playing this a few days and now whenever I’m traveling or am taking a break for 5 min, I’m glued to this. As you keep solving the next levels keep getting better and better

Good game, old game in the new era, very interesting to play you have to think hard to complete the levels but that's good to the brain is nice to play when I have a free I shared with my friends and they love it and we challenge to complete the levels fast very good with not doubt

This app is very good and I appreciate the quality of this app. Graphics in the applications is quite stable, new content and much more interesting. What's new: portrait and landscape orientation support, zoom mode allows you to solve even large japanese crosswords. I really like and are used every day.

Recent new points on this game: zoom mode allows you to solve even large japanese crosswords, light and dark color scheme support, undo option (up to 100 actions can be Undone). Simple and awesome! It's the game I looking for, it's lightweight, simple, addicting! I play every chance I get. I think everyone should be tried this game. You will discover a hidden picture by filling in cells on a game field. With a large number of puzzles, you won't let you get bored!
