Jisgaw +0.5K Hack 1.3.0 + Redeem Codes

I downloaded this app because I'm interested in the 10k version and wanted to try it, but it needs some work. I look forward to buying 10k after some fixes are in place.

Pros: Excellent functionality, best of any jigsaw app I have seen. Would easily be worth a five-star rating if not for the flaws. The windows are a wonderful way to address the large number of pieces. The pieces have a nice jigsaw shape, and there is piece rotation (inexplicably absent from many other jigsaw apps).

Cons: The biggest problem is the low resolution. This is a deal breaker because when the pieces are zoomed to a good working size, the detail is too low to easily match them up. Not to mention it looks poor. A related problem is the fact that unselected pieces "fuzz out". This is not necessary - the red border already indicates when a piece is selected, and the loss of detail makes finding matching pieces difficult. Also, the rotate function could use some work. If the piece is not rotated completely in one swipe, it's easy to lose the selection and have to tap it again. This is minor compared to the other two issues, but would be nice if cleaned up.

Boards are difficult to set up, poor control features. Puzzles look lovely though. Just wish I could work them,. Got frustrated. Going to delete this and look for something else instead.

After putting together all four of the puzzles provided in an early version of the "big brother, 2,000 piece" version of this, I was initially disappointed that this app only has 500 piece puzzles. However, after putting together my first choice, I decided that I like it, because I am a bit of an addict when it comes to putting a puzzle together; once I start, I am compulsive about working it until it is finished. It was nice to able to finish the 500 pieces in 8 hours instead of 80 hours for the 2,000 pieces.

I have tried several other puzzle apps and I like the shapes of the puzzle pieces of this app much better than the others--they are more true to what a real puzzle is like. It did take me some time to really figure out how I wanted to arrange pieces in boxes, but after I learned how to manipulate the pieces, the app flowed well. Once I learned to make the zoom percentage of the boxes that I was working with equal, it made looking for pieces much easier.

I do wish that there were puzzle choices that had more contrast. A puzzle should be fun to put together, not frustrating. The 2,000 piece version of this now has the capability for you to make any picture that you want into a puzzle; hopefully that capability will be added to this app soon.

Give us some more choices with bright colors so we can have fun and I'll give it 5 stars.

This is an incredibly innovative app. I put together an 800+ piece jigsaw puzzle on an IPad. This is incredible! You have to learn the interface--instead of one big "table", there are lots of little ones, and you can move pieces from one to another, label each table, view as many or as few as you wish at one time. You also have to learn how to move the pieces--I often have to a finger from each hand to rotate the pieces as I need--but the patience to learn to do this is worth it! You can zoom in on pieces, or zoom out. You can superimpose the original photo onto any of the tables. You can move a block of assembled pieces without them falling apart, ha! No more wishing you had more light, or losing a piece, or hoping your family needs the dining room table. Seriously, I love this app. My ONLY real concern is the choice of images. Too many of the choices have too many pieces that are too close in color.

I've tried every free jigsaw app looking for something fun and challenging. I think this is a great choice, however, I wish there was an option where the pieces did not require rotation, especially because I find it difficult to make the pieces "stay" even after rotating them, and they have to line up exactly right to be locked to one another. If that was an option, I'd love to do all of the puzzles from this company, especially some with a lot of pieces! Also, the newest version I downloaded on July 28, 2012 crashes every few minutes. It's not a huge deal because it doesn't forget my place in the puzzles, but it would be nice to have that fixed. I'm going to keep at this, though, and hope I can learn an easier way to rotate the pieces, and I would definitely appreciate a bigger selection of free puzzles once they are less frustrating!

It would be better if you could double tap to rotate a piece 90 degrees like other puzzle apps. The cumbersome two finger rotation along with the slow response time for the pieces to move ir lock together makes doing the puzzles less fun then it could be.

It is addicting! Better than a movie for traveling, winding down etc. Significantly better than other apps. The option to select the number of pieces in the 10k app is fabulous. Wishing for many, many more photos! Worth a fortune.

Love it! Easy to use, down side it keeps asking me for my iTunes log in when I start the program. Purchased the addition of adding my own images to make limitless puzzles.

This is one of the most realistic computer jigsaw puzzle apps in that all pieces rotate 350 degrees and the interlocking tabs are very precise yet each is subtly different from the next piece. The 500+ pieces make it a real challenge!

The pieces are hard to rotate and the instructions and the layout are confusing. Make it simple, show me where the finished puzzle is supposed to be, make the instructions easier to read. I want to enjoy this app but it's more complicated than I thought. I
