— Preferences have been reorganized for easier access,
— Various minor bugs fixes.
4.0.5
2016-06-10
This update brings several improvements in the selection of songs.
When the number of available songs is not large enough to find a song with the adequate tempo needed in the training session, Jiwok picks a song at random in your selected playlists, disregarding the BPM.
A new preference allows you to disable the BPM search entirely, to ensure that your own playlists are used in all cases.
Some extra songs have been added to the "Essentials" pack to help the application handle the situations where no song with the required BPM can be found.
Downloading the optional Jiwok packs can now be done in background. When the download is finished, the installation of the pack awaits the application reactivation if it is sleeping in background.
4.0.4
2016-06-04
This update brings a new optimization in the choosing of the songs.
It also corrects a problem that could block the selection of the subscription in some cases.
An error that could appear on the time zone used for the session reminder has been fixed.
4.0.3
2016-05-27
Fixed a bug that could leave the music playing after the session ended.
4.0.2
2016-05-24
This new release fixes several problems:
• When a session is interrupted by a phone call, it continues automatically afterwards.
• The active status of music and coach voice is now properly saved between sessions.
• The examination of the playlists, to find the BPM for each song, has been optimized and accelerated. Many more of your songs can be used by Jiwok. This avoids using the “Essentials” which tended to return too often, because the application didn't have any alternative song to play.
• The selection of a song, relevant to the effort asked by the session, has been optimized. We suggest that you activate several playlists, and even several sources (Jiwok packs, Apple, Spotify) to make a larger number of songs available and avoid repeating the same songs.
• A bug that created silences between songs has been fixed.
• The playlists images are displayed when they are available.
• A new preference allows to display the history automatically at the end of the session.
• A new preference allows to resynchronize the playlists automatically from their sources (such as Apple or Spotify).
• Alternatively, a button on top of the playlists allows to resynchronize manually.
• The user's time zone is not properly recorded. The notifications of the sessions use the system time zone, not the time zone recorded on the Jiwok server.

Version 4 of your coach Jiwok is a revolution!
With this new version of the application, there is no need anymore to pre-generate the sessions and download them as mp3s. The session is created “live” by the application using your own music from iTunes, Spotify (*), and the Jiwok music you can download for free.
The coach's voice is mixed over the music, and the songs are selected taking into account their BPM and the effort requiered by the sport session.
You can mix playlists from any source to obtain training sessions with richer musical surprises. Possibilities of sessions are now endless.
Also, you can now follow a multi-sessions training while using sessions from other programs, should you have a specific need for that. For instance, if you are following a running program and want to go swimming, you can use sessions from swimming programs without leaving your main running program.
Jiwok can optionally record your running session and display it on the map. Keep the data from previous sessions and track your past runs and efforts.
You can launch Jiwok along with another running application such as Runtastic, Endomondo, Nike plus, Runkeeper…
(*) Using Spotify from partnering application such as Jiwok requiers a “Premium” Spotify account.
