This update (a broken binary) in some cases, mostly when you upgraded your device (hardware) and/or OS since first time installing the game, may lead to a loss of game progress and IAP.
If you did not upgrade device/OS since installing the game (e.g. you first installed game on the latest OS and didn’t change device) then you are not affected.
We are already testing new bug fix update that solves this issue to make it available ASAP – this bug fix update should restore as much as possible of the game progress and you will be able to restore IAP free of charge.
A temporary workaround:
Remove the game completely from the device and then re-install it. Then IAP purchases can be restored using the "Restore Purchases" button. Game progress will be restored with the upcoming update.

Fun and simple little game but only half of my game displays so I have limited vision on what is happening. If you could fix this bug I would love to give 5 stars

I want to give this a 5 star review but......almost there
Well, let's start with what I do like. Not many ads, Fun gameplay, a nod to games of old; Doom, Mario, Contra etc.... But it's totally worthless because you lose ALL progress every time the app closes. It's also full of bugs in the game itself; loss of sound, can't use knife/sword etc..... Once these issues are fixed it would be a great app. A good way to pass ten minutes at best.
After the update, I'm upping my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Thankfully you can now save your progress and upgrades. Still though, on occasion you will lose control of secondary weapon... but you don't lose progress when you restart.

Great fun
This is a great game. Very fun and addictive, if a little premature. I noticed a few bugs that got me stuck on the lowest level, unable to jump. It happened early in a run so it wasn't a huge deal, but if you are far into a run I can see it getting very frustrating. There were also some response time issues, times when I would slice a guy and it wouldn't register, jumps wouldn't connect, things where it seemed like the game got overwhelmed and couldn't keep up. But in spite of those issues I can't stop playing. The only thing it's missing is more weapons and costumes. Can't wait for more updates!

Awesome game, just needs more content
Great game, super addicting. I can't stop playing because of how fun it is. There are a few bugs where I couldn't jump and I had to exit my game, but I didn't get too far in that run. The katana is cool but it needs either wider range or a fix if it's a bug because you have to be literally spot-on close to kill enemies. If you're half a second off, you miss and the enemy hits you. There also needs to be more weapons with alternate costumes and levels because that update will be the one to make this game truly awesome.

Good game, but I have a few suggestions
I love your game, I can't put it down. But it's getting old fast. I encountered a bug where when I swipe in the right side of the screen my sword doesn't deploy. I can't do melee at all, so I have to close the app open up the task manager and reset the app that way to get it to return to normal. Another suggestion I have is that you add something more, missions, power ups, more guns... Something. Maybe even make some harder foes that take two shots to kill. The have a gun to unlock that it only takes one shot from to kill the harder enemy previously mentioned. Just a suggestion. The game looks great by the way, I love the feel of it.

Very Addictive
Okay so I Got the game and spent a whole night playing it yeah yeah yeah... It's very addict ing but with little content adding more baddies would be a good idea and also more guns like there could be one baddie where if you get to close to him he leaps out with a blade and such. Also you could insert a boss like all traps are deactivated and it's just you and the boss. For example the boss could be in the back of the truck throwing barrels on different levels of the track. I hope the devs read thins review and I really recommend this game.

Room for improvement
It is a nice, addicting runner. To get five stars they would need to add a little bit of invincibility time after you get hit. The obstacles are very close together and sometimes you can go from full health to dead (5 hits) in just 1 second. They also need to make the upgrading weapons and the weapon store a little more complex. There are only two weapons you can upgrade. And honestly there are so many ammo boxes lying around that you don't even need to upgrade ( when you upgrade max ammo goes up.) simple, fun game.

John Mad Run
I saw this on steam green light and saw that they are making a sequel of this game. I love the idea but every time I close the app I loose all my progress like weapons, upgrades, coins, and high scores, so please make a save option or an auto save option. Also sometimes the green army guys who have the pistols that shoot at you shoot before they are even on the screen and before they pull their gun from their underpants so please fix that bug.

A excellent pixel run and gun
Controls are simple and gameplay is enjoyable. Although there are only 2 weapons you can buy so far the can be upgraded with coins you collect during your runs. The weapons and upgrades are surprisingly affordable which isn't very common with most arcade games and you can get a ton of coins from your runs. You face things like lava, lasers, swat and army, buzz saws and other threats. May this game be a example to other producers

WOW the greatest game *****
This is one hardcore cool game, challenging but still fun, I can not stop playing! The old school yet new school feel had me hooked from the start, I wish there was more of a story mode, worlds you work your way through etc. and more weapon upgrades and armour upgrade would be great too but overall this is the perfect game for anyone looking for an addictive classic style new school gaming experience, just get it now!!!
