The app
I love it I just started the jump rope thing and it is great but I wish you could set the count destination for beginners. So that way they have a real accomplishment feeling at the end as well as set realistic goals. And feel better about pushing further. Yes hats all I can say is that. And also take auto time out off. People need breaks and sometime it may need to be longer. For beginners it’s a huge discouraging factor when you have to break and it automatically stops and you have to start over. But it is a great app as I said it’s just those two things.

Wonderful, just wonderful….
Use to walk a lot and took about 3 hours to burn 600 cals hitting on avg 5000 steps an hours…. Now I’m jumping (no rope many times cause there’s little room)…Going at 100 skips a min and burning on avg 100 cals in 10 min (goal is 60min)….. Jumping takes 1/3 the time and this app saves you the headache of counting …. Just jump and hold the device with earphones. Works great in small spaces.

Simple but Effective
This app is great for what it does. Accurately counts each jump. I love how it verbally tells you every minute while jumping and gives you some data insight when finished. The only thing I would improve is being able to turn off the chime that happens every jump. I like to listen to a podcast when jumping and it annoying to just continually hear a chime every single jump. This should be able to be turned off. Otherwise this is a easy to use effective app.

Great app - Apple Watch support please
It slightly under counts my jumps when speed roping. On average it’s about 50 less per every 500 - or about 10%

Apple Watch support would get it to 5 stars. If I could avoid having to strap my phone on that would be great. The Apple Watch has a very accurate accelerometer - I’m not sure why this hasn’t been implemented.

Outside of that the UI is polished and the app is easy to use. Great job!

Getting there
Superior app, accuroute counter, great stats, BUT 3 critical thing is missing: 1) possibility to set how many seconds the session starts after START button. 2) possibility to disable auto stop when no jumps detected for a while. 3) possibility to tabata timer option (how many sec jump, rest and home many times it should repeat this). I give 5 stars id these are added. I tried to reached developper, but NO email or contact form, this also must be added into app!!

Good app
I have started the jump rope challenge by doing it for 1000 jumps per day. The help is very useful and it does seem to accidentally miscount jumps every now and then, but the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the “stop” button is placed at the bottom to where I keep accidentally stopping the session because IPhone unlocks from the bottom

Not as accurate with phone in pocket.
I downloaded this as extension of jumping rope, perhaps have this keep count so I can just get lost in the moment.

*But early testing showed that it’s very sensitive to the phones movements. I counted 18 skips and the app was on 30! Because the jumping caused the phone to bounce around in the pocket of my shorts.

So this may be a great app, if you already own an armband for your phone, or shorts/pants that fit so snug the phone doesn’t move around at all to count as “double jumps”.

Easy to use, free, quite accurate
I enjoy it, it’s simple and easy yet detailed enough. It’s a too sensitive for me even with armband, but quite accurate. Auto-stop should be removed, not being able to get your stats in one report because you wanted a water/towel break is annoying af, and anxiety-inducing. Users are perfectly able to pause/stop their trackers on their own.

Not working like it used to
Not sure if it’s the update but it skips jumps and doesn’t accurately count like it did before this recent update.. also, it stops your personal music from playing now and when I lock my phone it stops counting. Have been using this for over a year with no issues so hopefully it gets fixed.

Good app with two big flaws
1. You can’t choose an inactivity time above 1 minute. If you have to pee the app will automatically stop your workout. Makes no sense. Add an option for 5 min.

2. You can’t mute the jump rope counts without muting your entire phone. There’s no option to stop it. I can’t listen to music or podcasts while using the app. Sad because the rest is great.
