What you need

Choose one of 4 categories:
1. Small snow - great for landscapes.
2. Bokeh - a large and blurry snow, which will decorate your portrait shots.
3. Motion - inspired by extreme photos and suitable for unusual camera angles.
4. Abstraction - pure imagination, use to create creative works.

Create exellent compositions using the "Mask" tool. The snowfall will never close your face or other important objects. The mask works like an eraser. Choose the ideal shape, for example, for landscapes is useful "Half", and for the portrait a "Circle". Just move the mask to the desired object and set the desired size.
Add a new layer
Not enough snow? Use the layers. Mix filters from different categories. Also this tool works fine with masks. Turn on your fantasy. Arrange a snow storm on your picture.

Nice but needs work
This is a very nice app! I love the effects, they don’t look fake. However, it needs an ‘Undo’ button and we need to have a way to choose our eraser size. Sometimes I just want to erase a small area and not a huge area, but the eraser is huge by default. Also, it is unclear whether the $2.99 fee for this app is a one time fee or a recurring fee. This should be clarified somewhere...
I feel like that price is a little steep for a one time fee because paying for this app only gives you access to the eraser and 6 new snow filters. Not worth it. I’ll stick with the free version until some improvements are made.

Saving works on the iPad now and I want to say thanks to the developer for fixing this issue after reading my messages.
Also, to those people saying the snow is pixelated: I did some tinkering around and there is a setting where you can change the level of blur the snow has. It’s the last setting on the right on the bottom. You can change the level of blur/softness of the snowflakes as well as intensity and opaqueness and more.
You can also change the color of the snow, so as to give your picture a cool bokeh effect with pink, purple, etc. spots of light. Plus, there are so many different snow patterns and settings the possibilities are quite limitless. I also like how you can add many layers to get exactly the look you want.
Overall, this app is great now that I can save my pics and I found out how to soften/blur the snow.

just snow is an excellent app for making Christmas pictures and even just pictures!
you can change the color of the snow, and make the snow different shapes too. It’s amazing and so fun, and it looks very realistic! Especially if your outside!! I think that this app is very good and should get a four star rating, that’s what I think of just snow.

Try it out without watermarks
Love that! I was able to check out the features and even export a picture with some basic effects and editing without a watermark. That’s a sign of a good product. I’ll be upgrading to pro.

Exactly what I was looking for in a simple app that adds snow effects to my photos. Realistic and easy to use. Highly recommend.

Not great!
Offers a great variety of filters to choose from which is definitely nice, however all the filters are not in high resolution and of poor quality with very pixelated details. That’s the whole purpose of why I want to use this app for my photos, but that reason alone is a major set back. Definitely not great if you want to add that touch of snow to your high resolution photos, app needs to be updated!
