Serves the purpose
It is always recommended that you train at a dojo; therefore, an app is just a reminder of the steps for training by yourself. This app does a good enough job at that. The basic structure and features of this app are great. The example poses could be a lot better though and it would not have been difficult to make sure the poses look adequate. Proper Shotokan stances are longer and lower.

Great for reference!
Usually I take a book to look up moves on a kata that I am working on but this is better. I can use my phone to look up most katas and not have to worry about the page being lost. Also being able to switch what side I am looking at helps, usually staring at the back of an instructor is how I go through them in class but able to turn the picture around to get a look at arms and where they should be is great!

Add a move forward button
Please consider adding a button or shortcut that moves you backward or forward through the steps. There is big yellow frame areas that could be used for this purpose. If you imagine yourself using this app, having to learn the kata, this functionality would be a big help. Some more black belt katas would be great too.

Worth every cent!
This app is AMAZING! You can clearly see that they put an unbelievable amount of time and care into creating this app. Only wish I had found it sooner in my Karate training!!! Have bought the extra 2 in app kata and will continue to purchase any others they develop!

Best thing on IOS period
This is by far the best app on ios for the traveling karateka whom needs some reference and it's that and so much more such fine detail I am smitten by this app and thank you to the two senseis for there assistance to all of us
