You can import your files to Katiba with a single tap and they will automatically be synced with all of your iOS or Mac devices. All new files will be replaced with the old ones so that your staff will have access to the latest policies, protocols and procedure manuals from anywhere and at any time.
A simple but efficient Teaching Files section has been added to save educational images, video clips, scientific papers and reference eBooks. Any users can add educational material to Katiba but only registered admin users can delete them. To add educational images, you can import the image from your Photos album, from Files folder or capture directly with your device's camera. The reports, worksheets and scanned documents can now be exported in either PDF or DICOM format to your PACS. Login as Admin and tap on "More" button and select between PDF and DCM to export your documents. Your selection will be saved in your device so you only need to do this once.

To test DICOM communications, you can use public DICOM servers such as Medical Connections for MWL and PACS. Just log-in as Admin and enter IP: 51.75.171.41 Port: 11112 (For PACS) and port 104 (for MWL) and AET: MEDICALCONNECTION (or anything else) in the provided fields for PACS and MWL servers. For your iOS device, enter Port: 2004, AET: KATIBA (or anything else that you can easily recognize your iOS device) and your iOS device IP address (which is shown on the Admin page below the IP field). Tap Save Settings and restart the app to test DICOM communications. You can get patients from the MWL and send test documents to PACS.
