Family engagement and teacher reflection
I have been using Kaymbu for over 5 years and have seen the evolve and adapt to meet the needs of the early childhood education and assessment. With practice, teachers are able to easily share, track and write about a child’s growth and development and share it with families. It has been a central feature to how our program communicates with families. Using this program as a teacher, I’ve noticed how has encouraged me to reflect on children’s learning every week. I have found it makes me more mindful of what I’m offering in the classroom and how I’m supporting children. Some families really enjoy and look at the photos and comments and it can be discouraging when they don’t. But I’m always reassured that all of the hard work with the app makes me a better teacher and informs my practice just as much as it helps me engage with families.

Fantastic app for teachers!
I initially thought that Kaymbu was just a great resource for elevating my class newsletters, but I have found that it actually does much more than that! I love the fact that with the touch of a button, I can easily share individual accomplishments with parents by sending them a video of their child’s class presentation or a picture of their art masterpiece. Kaymbu also helps you track which families have been contacted so that you can ensure that you are making positive contacts all around. When sending classroom communications, I also have a variety of options for colorful layouts, adding important calendar dates, uploading pdf’s of spelling lists and adding pictures and videos. If you’re looking for a great app to help you give parents a peek into your amazing classrooms, try Kaymbu!

Amazing app for great communication between teachers and families among other things
I am currently a teacher who uses kaymbu on a day to day basis. Kaymbu is an incredible app that is extremely easy to use. This comes from someone who has used other platforms such as teaching strategies gold. When I made the switch from teaching strategies gold to kaymbu, I thought I would struggle with the change, but it was the complete opposite and I’m really happy that I made the switch. I have been using kaymbu for 2 years now and not only do all the teachers love it, but the families do too. I have the ability to send pictures and videos to families. Create newsletters, and even auto set the pictures to be sent to families everyday at a specific time. It’s time you make the switch to kaymbu!

Great for Communication and Social Marketing
As a Director of Communication and Marketing for a small private school this application has been a game changer. The teachers take the photos for documentation and direct communication with parents but I am able to go in and see all the images and pull a specific thematic interest collections to create a story about our program to share with prospective parents. So for me in my role being able to see kids at ease because their teacher is taking a photo, rather than some person (me) they rarely see, coming in and trying to take a photo, the images reflect a more natural and warm experience.

Great app for the teachers and families
This app is a fantastic app that is not only great for the teachers to show off all the amazing work we do with the children day in and day out. But it is also great because the parents are able to see what they are doing all day. I can not tell you the amount of families who have explained to me how much they love getting pictures throughout the day. It helps the parents get through the day when they miss their kids as well as when the child has a difficult drop off it lets them see the change in the child’s day after drop off. I would recommend this app for any day care facilities!

Great App!!
This app allowed contact with the parents without having to give out your personal information. I love that you are able to share photos and videos of their children with them so easily and take the pictures thru the app. Another app we used, you had to use your camera on your phone and it took up so much space. It also allows you to take several pictures and choose which ones to send and which ones to save for documentation. I like this rather having to constantly deleting and retaking!

Kaymbu! Yeah!
I find Kaymbu to be super supportive with documentation and engaging with families. I use the messaging estate often and many families have the app as well and are able to engage. Being an outdoor class, having the app on my phone is super convenient and I can send out moments in real time. I also use the storyboard feature to write Learning Stories, put together photo collages and keep my documentation updated in children’s portfolios. I’ve also found the customer service your prompt and helpful. Thank you Kaymbu!

Great Home-School Connection Platform
Our school has been using Kaymbu for several months now, and we love all the functions that it provides to help our teachers connect with our families. The families are informed daily of their child’s day through the daily photo digest. We connect our assessment with the TAGS function that Kaymbu has to categorize each photo based on the developments skill it belongs to. We also love the storyboard function where it allows us to create newsletters effortlessly. Would recommend this app to other Centers/schools out there!

Fantastic App for Teachers and Families
This app is great in every way! Teachers can take pictures of kids engaging in activity and use tagging systems to create portfolios for these children! Sending daily pictures to families and seeing the comments left by them is great! You can create story boards with pictures and words to print out and post around the classroom! I work at Little Sprouts and this app is part of our daily routine as it is easy and efficient! I could go on and on about how great this app is and highly recommend this app to schools, teachers and daycares!

Great for Educational Documentation
Our school utilizes Kaymbu to send photo moments to families weekly, compile a weekly newsletter, and create progress reports. We have received so much positive feedback from families. Right now with the pandemic our family - school connection is weakened due to health and safety protocol and this enables parents to “see” their child while at school.
We love all of the functions and they are very quick to implement feedback and add on features to improve its ability to be used in so many different ways.
