It is magic!
I am one of those people that has to track what I eat. It is way to easy for me to get off track and gain weight if I don’t.
It takes way to much time and is tedious. Tracking each individual food manually. Honestly who these days has time for that? This app REALLY will take that task off your plate. (pun intended!)
From day one it was crazy close to estimating my calories. I didn’t believe it would work so I kept my old time consuming way going. The app totals were very close to my way. After a few training sessions and a little tweaking on my part (making sure if it was a higher fat meal I marked it as such) I found kCalculator to be extremely accurate. If for some strange reason the counts are way off you can manually adjust the number. You can also add a meal or snack if for some reason it was not detected. While it is a very automated process it can be manually adjusted if needed. It really does adapt and learn. After 4 days, I am completely confident in this app and I no longer track things individually and manually. It is such a relief!

As an added bonus, when you have to really on yourself to record your eating and food manually it is very easy to “forget” to write it down or decide that little bit should not matter.
It is extremely difficult to remain in denial when you watch says we detected you were eating. It is crazy that your watch will call you out!!

Regularly amazed
The main limitation is that it doesn’t pick up eating for less than a couple minutes, but I’ve become more aware of this and manually add when I need to. I’m a techie and it all makes sense. Takes a couple weeks, but with a few training sessions and just verifying the true/false detections it dials in. Super easy. I’m regularly amazed how accurate it is when I check LifeSum.

Great way to track food intake
This has been a great way to show my food intake through the day based on arm movement from my Apple Watch. I do find that it records a meal that may just be coffee but the food log can easily be modified for anything that was not a meal. Great way to track estimated calories throughout the day!

Best way to track meals!
I have used a lot of meal tracking apps and this one is the best because I don’t actually have to track anything! It also makes you very aware of how much mindless eating we do in a typical day. Works great after you give it the necessary time to learn your habits.

Maybe mine isn’t calibrated.
I find it not to be accurate and I am constantly notified in the middle of the night “did you eat at 7pm?”

I track my calories in my fitness pal and found this app to be severely lower than the actual calories that I ate (I.e. when it did track, a 500+ calorie meal logged at 200ish).

I want to like this app, maybe the developers can shed some light?
