bearyfrosty,
Mind-boggling just how fun this thing is
Picked it up from a friend’s recommendation; it’s incredibly fun to play, as well as soothing (solving via audio cues).

Feature Request: Would it be feasible to implement a customizable configuration for adjusting the auto assist sensitivity as your multi-wave-shape-amalgation nears the shape of the level’s cutout / goal? I’m referring to the autoassist at the completion of a level; the amount of help it provides gets pretty noticeable at around the level 70ish mark to me, particularly after reading the criticisms from the review about Fourier Transforms on March 2nd of this year. Perhaps, after completing all the levels of the game (and upon unlocking Endless mode), indicate to users that this feature is available (should enough users notice this as well and make a point about it to request tweaking).

Aside from that- thank you for creating this wonderful game, and implementing it in such a way that my recently met newfound friend was able to bring this to my attention (and I regret not having found it earlier!).
AnkhAnanku,
Fourier Analysis: The Game
Kerflux presents a unique challenge of picking up on visual cues and component patterns as you try to build the waveform out of simple harmonic building blocks. As an introduction to a field of math that had previously scared me off just from hearing the name, this game provides a simple and intuitive expression of Fourier analysis.

I love a game that really engages the brain. 151 waves in and it’s still an interesting endeavor.

Criticism:
I really hate how the solution-assist (that thing that will slightly adjust all the waves into a perfect fit when you’ve got it all the components in a close enough position) is so sensitive. Too often I’ve seen the waves drift into place while I was still trying to understand what I was doing and how the waves were building.

On that same note I also wish the audio cues made more sense. I’m not asking to listen to the timbre of each wave (what the shape of the wave actually sounds like). As interesting a challenge as that might be that i get the feeling that would probably not be pleasant. It would, however, be really cool if each wave that was more in place would reveal a different part of the soundtrack instead of the whole track fading in and out.

I don’t know, I mostly play with the sound off cuz I don’t like how it helps me solve the puzzle without actually understanding and solving the puzzle.

Good ad free game for passing time
One of the rare free games without those annoying pop up mini games. The game it self is based on the principal of superposition (I think?) of waves, and doesn't need your utmost concentration so it can be played during your commute. The music is kind of retro which actually fades in and out based on the how much the signals match. I found it weirdly soothing. Great game, keep it up devs.

PS : if the developer could add even lower donation levels, it might help them get more people to pay
Tommythereviewman,
Awesome!
This game is a nice little time passer if you're waiting for something or just bored. Also no ads at all! After a few levels it asks if you want to pay any money. Doesn't tell you to, just asks that if you think the game is good, if you'd like to donate? I had to throw the developers some cash! Making a game without 100 different microtransactions and ads all over and it is pretty fun to play seems just too good to be true but this is it!
Waturdawn,
Great Game
I’m glad they didn’t charge you for the game and instead added a “pay what you want” feature. However, if it was a game I had to pay for, I would have just because of how great the game is. I feel like the creators were not in it to make money, but instead they were in it because they had passion and a very interesting concept that teaches you something in the process, well done.

Fun Way To Pass Time!
I have many games on my phone, but this is the one I choose to pass time. Mainly because, it's ad free, and it's easy! I get very frustrated with puzzle games. It's not that I can't solve them, it's just that, I get annoyed when it's taking a while. Your game is easy and (most of the time) I'll keep playing and never get stuck. As I said it's just a great way to pass time! I'd look to see more games from you guys!
DavidDepape,
How did I miss this for 5 years??
I had never seen this game the entire 5 years it’s been available and I spend a LOT of time searching and browsing the AppStore. Finally amsaw I this week, it’s free and it’s awesome. This really highlights what a jungle of mostly junk the AppStore is. I wish there was something Apple could do to improve it. Download this game. No ads either!!
evaryana,
Just the right balance of challenge, chill, and unfocused focus
This game is great when my mind is busy but I’m too tired to think. Gameplay is so simple that instructions would get in the way, but that doesn’t mean the game is easy. It takes the kind of immersive tuning-in that shoves busy, random thoughts to the side. The way the audio adapts to the wave adjustments is a delightful feature. This is an ideal game for anxious nerds!
vaibhav2138,
Amazing pastime!
Kerflux is a great game I can play to pass the time. I even like the non-intrusive system where it ask how much you think the game is worth, without any ads or annoying micro transactions. I’d honestly pay the maximum (which is $9.99), but I don’t have the money, and I’m leaving a review instead. If I could spend it, I would. These developers deserve it.
mxtylr,
Enjoyable, but only minimally challenging
This is an interesting concept and an enjoyable means of passing the time but there aren't enough constraints to really call this a "puzzle", IMHO. If you're just looking to kill a few minutes you could do worse, but I wouldn't turn to this if looking for anything more gratifying than that.
