It's a well developed app
It's good to use to get the basic common vocabulary down however it is lacking complete sentences. So it
Could use a little tweak here or there but besides that I recommended it to all kids or adults who want to learn Chinese... I mean you have to start somewhere... Baby steps my friends. Can't just expect to learn Chinese a whole night without the basic knowledge.

One of the best kid Mandarin Apps
I bought the full pack and I'm glad I did. It is good for both my four and six year old, and they have learned a lot of vocabulary. The games test what they learn and reinforce well. They are not learning sentences, but just vocab. It would be vastly improved if there were pinyin visible during the "movies" which are basically just songs. With translation, because we have no idea what they are singing. It's too much too quickly to really be a learning tool unless the parent is also a Mandarin speaker. The reward sticker book could be so much more useful if we heard the Mandarin word for the sticker when they tap on it. Also, though the calligraphy isn't very useful, if we could hear the word pronounced again when we tap on the object, it could reinforce vocabulary and pronounciation. But still, it's one of the better apps out there.

Superb Introduction to Mandarin
This app provides an outstanding introduction to basic words in Mandarin. It will not get you speaking the language, but it will definitely allow you to learn some common words and characters. The app introduces words, then uses a standard quiz format to reinforce the vocabulary. Perhaps the only shortcoming in the game is that from module to module, the games/quizzes remain the same. It would be nice if the selection varied a bit from module to module , just to keep it fresh. That being said, it is not enough to warrant taking away a star. Just a recommendation for the developers in a (hopefully) future update.

Repetition is key
This app makes the necessary repetition for vocabulary building most enjoyable! The use of pictures and lack of translation also teaches the language without that pesky 3rd step that slows down language learners-translating is not the best way to learn! Especially for children! This is worth the cost. Moving to the next level of sentence structure needs another app.

Fantastic for my China girl
My daughter was adopted at 3.5 and is just now showing an interest in reconnecting with her language and culture. This is such a fun non-threatening way for her to engage at her own pace. Her younger brother is learning too! Wish there was a way to keep the sticker books separate for the different players. She gets frustrated when he messes up her reward stickers. LOL.

Great learning app for my 5 yr old
Free app is only for numbers. Must pay up for additional lessons but unlike other apps there are various games to learn a category & they earn virtual stickers for a completed lesson.
I do agree that instructions are hard to hear through the background music & should be adjusted in next version.

Great! & My 4yr old is actually learning!
I bought this app for my 4 yr old so she could learn Chinese w/ me and she loves it! At first I thought she was just pushing whatever she wanted, but now I watch her play after about a week or two and she can actually distinguish the numbers. Definitely going to get the full package!

This app helps me to teach Chinese!
I started to use this app since 2016 and I have asked all the parents to get this app for their kids. In-between lessons they can play different games and they can show me the progress. Students are learning fast while having a good time!

I was 6 years old and fluent at one time, and now I am taking mandarain classes in my school, looking back, it was amazing. It is the exact same. But one questionable sticker is the literal benoftheweek one. Love it though, really nostalgic and adds some fun into learning.

No longer works with update to iOS 11.
It’s very good software for kids to learn Chinese when it was working. Unfortunately it no longer work after I updated to iOS 11.
There was a warning while still under iOS that it will not work in iOS 11, feedback was given on the app Facebook page. Support claimed it works with iOS 11 but turns out it does not.
