Behind the times?,
(Update warning) Was good, when it worked
Don't download this version if you're using an original iPhone or iPod Touch! You can't run the necessary iOS 4+ on your device, so won't be able to use the app any more!
Older versions of Kids Paint were a lot of fun, and my kid loved the app. A non-running app gets no love, however.

Its simple, fun and most important my kids dig it!
This app is not a complicated. Its not designed for the user to over think. Thats what makes it brilliant. The first time i tried it, i didnt like it. Mostly because i didnt have the patience to figure it out. However, i gave it to my five year old to play with in the grocery store and he figured it in 5 minutes! He figured out that if you tapped the screen with two fingers it clears the screen. If you start a line on an existing line you can keep the same color.
If you are the target audience for the iphone dont bother with this app. If you want an app that your younger kids can play with to keep them entertained long enough to do the shopping or stuck in line somewhere, then this is that app for you!

Simple for little ones
My son enjoys this. It's very simple and straight forward. There's no color pallatte or brush size or any other tool to frustrate my 2 year old. He just gets to draw, shake, and redo. If you want to something seriously artsy, this isn't for you. But if you forget crayons and a piece of paper and your kid wants to draw, then this will certainly do.
I couldn't say "fun and addicting" or anything, but he does enjoy it from time to time, and really likes that I can do screen shots and save his work.

Very Very Good
It entertained me for quite a while. This is a drawing application, so when the app turns on, you draw in it, not just wait. I really like the simplicity. I think that the gradients should actually be a bit smoother looking to match with the drawing style in the app. To clear the screen, it's a 2 finger touch. Shaking really doesn't do anything. This app ha very high potential. 5/5 for now.

great app for once
I soooo enjoy this..and I'm 21. I like to draw and be creative..have fun. and this let's me. it reminds me of that black paper that you would scratch to draw on. ooh I loved those!! and this is free! could it be any better. it's just simply nice, free, and passes time in a fun way! I enjoy writing little messages and sending them as photos to my boyfriend. just a cute fun thing :).

This is a pretty awesome app! It's really helpful and just fun to use. One suggestion though: when you shake the iPod to clear the screen, can we please keep the backround we were using, because it gets pretty annoying when you have to search for it all over again

pretty sweet, but...
it's nice, but has failed on one aspect: kids will try to paint with two fingers. My kids want to use their hand, and end up erasing this picture. If you can shake to erase, why not remove this feature? it would make it superb! I love the random simpleness of it.

seriously, my two year old loves it. now she doesn't have to play in my contacts or email , trying to look for something to play with on my iPhone.

No need for save button
Just draw then press the off and home screen key at the same time for save then check ur pix folder then wave it around in the dark its fun:)

Fun app. Just a little time killer. The simplicity of it is enjoyable. And to emilyyyyy. Take a screen shot of it by pressing the top sleep button and the home button at the same time real quick!!
