Description
KinetiFit is committed to helping youth achieve their mental and physical health potential. We give youth the framework to achieve 60 minutes of physical activity a day, develop mental skills and coping strategies to deal with life’s challenges, and become educated on healthy living practices. KinetiFit can be accessed through phone, tablet, and web applications.
Physical Activity
Youth will be able to try a variety of physical activities to see which ones they enjoy and can continue for their lifetime. The activities range from bodyweight strength exercises to sport specific workouts. Follow along with the videos in the app and track your progress.
Mental Skills Training
Daily mental skills lessons and activities will help youth develop positive thinking, stress management, problem-solving skills, relationships, and more. Developing these skills promotes resilience, confidence, and motivation. Watch a short video and learn how to apply mental skills into your life.
Health Education
Learning about how to take care of your body is the first step towards healthy habits. Nutrition, sleep, and body mechanics all play a role in the health and wellbeing of individuals. Learn how to use them to your advantage.
Challenges and Leaderboards
Compete against your classmates by completing physical activity challenges. Stay active and keep your streak alive to be on top of your school and class leaderboards.
Daily Readiness Questionnaire
Through 5 short questions, the daily readiness questionnaire can bring further awareness about the overall wellbeing of the students. Over time, trend lines can indicate possible shifts from the student’s normal mental and physical health. By bringing awareness to our sleep quality, mood, energy levels, stress levels, and focus we can lessen possible health issues.
KinetiFit is free to download and free to use for students at participating schools. Students, ask your teacher to get your class setup to use KinetiFit. Teachers and administrators, contact KinetiFit to learn how to get your school involved in promoting your students’ overall health.
