"This is the very best app ever... I never want to use a pattern that's not on your app ever again." - Michelle

"I loved knitting socks with Knitrino, I can't imagine ever going back to a PDF again." - Claudia

"I have tried a lot of knitting apps and I love the functionality of Knitrino. You did an amazing job of modernizing knitting patterns! I really love the swipe to the next row. I can close the app and be back at the same place! The stitch explanation is out of this world! Thank you so much for taking on a project like this... This takes pattern reading to a whole new level!" - Devon

"I am also super impressed with Knitrino. I thought working form an app would feel cumbersome, but instead it has made my usual pattern placekeeping system on paper seem cumbersome." - McKenzie

SChilders,
Well-Designed, Intuitive, Thoughtful, Educational, Easy to Use
Knitrino is so easy to use, thoughtfully and consciously created, and well-designed with knitters of all skill levels in mind.
Full disclosure: I knitted my first sweater using this app! I also did colorwork for the first time after being a knitter for 9 years! AND I used charts for the first time! I already started knitting another colorwork sweater because the app made the entire process so easy to keep track of and fun to do!
I love the immersive experience that Knitrino gives you, as well as the thoughtful little additions and touches that show that the development team took real advice from real knitters & then incorporated everything into their design process! Everything is so well designed and beautiful to see and use.
This is my new favorite app and I honestly cannot imagine having to use paper pattern charts, marking off stitches with highlighters and pens, trying to keep track of everything... *shudder*. No thanks. Knitrino is the cream of the crop amd I’m sticking with her forever!
Vintage Candy,
Amazing knitting tool
My daughter and I both just love using Knitrino. The design team have thought of everything to make this the most helpful knitting tool on the market. Hate charts? Don’t understand charts? This is the app for you!! Knitrino will help you become a chart reader and lover. If you are new to knitting or just know the basics this app demonstrates and explains all techniques in your knitting pattern . If you want to try a harder pattern ? You can do it with success using Knitrino. Now my daughter doesn’t ask me how to do a certain stitch. Knitrino helps her as many or as few times as she needs it. If you are a pattern designer you need to have your patterns published through Knitrino. Plenty of places to add your notes and explanations for your knitting patterns. The best part is You only pay for the patterns you use. No yearly or monthly fee. When a tool makes a newer, younger knitter and a older advanced knitter both happy you know it is a winner. Add this amazing app to your knitting project bag.
My daughter and I are both glad we did!

Suzy D's Review,
The 21st Century of Knitting Apps
This is not a PDF reader for knitting patterns; this is a *fully integrated* knitting app. There’s no need for printouts and a pen anymore because Knitrino brings knitting technology into the 21st Century. I’ve already knit two patterns on the app and couldn’t be happier. Everything you need (except the hands, yarn and needles!) is in the app — videos and text directions to complete different kinds of stitches and techniques, progress marking, notes to yourself, and the ability to customize charts for your size and with the colors you are using. Additional patterns will be added to the app over time but the patterns offered now already include a little something for everyone (sweater knitters, lace knitters, cable knitters, etc). I can’t wait to cast on my next project with Knitrino!

Beginner’s delight
I first starting knitting when one of the apps developers was a teacher at my high-school. She taught me how to knit, and while I loved it, I soon ran out of time to focus on knitting. As an adult I had completely forgotten how to knit and felt like I might never pick it up again without a teacher to help me. When the app came out I was delighted. It is so easy to learn new stitches and use the patterns. This really takes out so much of the work of being a beginner. Not only that but the patterns are infinitely prettier than anything I could come up with on my own. I really can’t recommend this enough to a beginner who feels intimidated by such a beautiful craft. I can’t wait to buy some more yarn and make something wonderful for myself!
Britlane03,
Amazing app!
I was recently able to test a pattern with this app and I am blown away. It was simple & easy to use. It kept track of my progress, broke sections down in a really cool way, is super customizable (you can add your yarn color IN your charts, how cool is that???!) and overall really intuitive to use. I can’t wait until there are more patterns because honestly this is one of the best knitting apps I’ve ever used and I’m excited to use it again.
Things I love:
progress tracking- that check Mark is very satisfying!
Customization
Clarity
Ease of use
Video tutorials
Variety of types of patterns (and I know there are more to come!)

Suggestions:
Timer? I’ve recently begun to try and time my work and would love to see this feature
Offline mode

The makers of this app are incredibly kind and helpful. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this company. I know it was a long road to get here and that for our side of things it’s only the beginning and I’m already totally loving it!

Knitting made easy
Knitrino is a brilliant app that revolutionizes knitting from a pattern. Tired of shuffling papers or toting a book around for your current project? Is it difficult to remember what row you were on a project still on the needles? Not a problem with Knitrino, which allows you to track row by row on a project and saves your progress. As you go along, you’re given both the chart and written instructions, again on a row by row basis. Click on a stitch in the chart to see how it’s knitted, and even pull up a quick video to demonstrate the technique. The app is very user-friendly and I look forward to seeing more and more patterns made available as it grows.
yzzilyzzid,
Knitrino is an amazing tool for knitting newbies!
I picked up knitting in the spring of 2020, and muddled my way through learning stitches and techniques through video sites and various blogs. While the journey is as important as the destination in crafting, I wish I had Knitrino when I first started. Knitrino taught me how to knit from a chart, and the instructions and videos were incredibly easy to follow. I knit my first project in the round and did cable stitches for the first time. The patterns are clear and easy to follow, and the row counter is a GAME CHANGER! I don’t want to sound cliche but Knitrino literally changed my knitting life!
Seizansha,
Limitations
App is nice to use if you like the available patterns. On the phone the chart is not viewable all at once which results in scrolling from left to right constantly. So, in turn an app that was designed to be helpful actually causes another inconvenience. Patterns are incredibly expensive and do not provide a download to print option. There is no option to import your own patterns. There are very few options available to make that do not appeal to me. If this is going to be a resource for makers it needs to stretch a wider variety including crochet patterns. App claims to be similar to a high end knitting magazine but be prepared to pay much more for each pattern. Developers claim they pay one of the highest rates in the industry but I would also like to see the breakdown on that number. App feels disingenuous and elitist.

Not intuitive or user friendly
I have been knitting for years and have not been this frustrated with a project in years. The app does not save my place in the pattern, does not reliably transfer the pattern between devices, does not have an in app help feature, and does not work off line or in airplane mode. I am trying to knit a reasonably simple sock pattern and since the app is such a struggle I will be switching to a different pattern and platform. The app appears to be set up for a very narrow user experience and any users outside of that model need to adjust their way of working instead of the app adapting to them. Considering the high cost of each pattern and the inability to bring in outside patterns I would suggest folks think hard before using this app. I had high hopes for this app and am very disappointed.

Life-Changing Knitting Experience
As someone who usually squeezes my knitting in while waiting in doctors offices, cars, or on lunch breaks, this app has changed the knitting game!
Having something track where I left off and with easy videos to remind you how to complete stitches is life changing. I feel more comfortable working on complicated projects outside of my home.
Yes, the patterns are pricier, but I think it’s 100% worth it for the convenience of being able to keep your place and pattern conveniently on your phone.

Thank you Alison & Andrea for making this app!
