AguaJefe,
Increasingly complex puzzles
Nice graphics and background music. I like how the puzzles are consistent but become more complex. Especially trying to figure out to combo the power sources to complete a circuit and get the extra power source to appear from its hiding place.

Levels 3-4 have the flavor of The Room: Old Sins, where you have to keep traversing back and forth between rooms to find then use the objects.

I would not, however, call this a Room Escape game. More of a mystery journey. And that is the reason for knocking it one star. The story seems to be all mystery, no destination, and the relics are just there as part of the story plot. Maybe in future versions the relics will point to something?

One other piece of advice I would give for the next chapter: When I save and exit, then re-enter, it should take to wherever I was. This one seems to backtrack a bit, like to the original room. It does save all the puzzles I solved and items I collected, but I still have to navigate from the “front door” to wherever I exited. Minor detail though.

All around great game. Very soothing and satisfying.
That1GingerGuy,
Very fun, very addictive.
I saw a bunch of reviews about the free version of this game being to short(only the intro chapter). I’m assuming that the devs decided to make chapter two ftp as well. This was a fantastic move on their part. I downloaded the game about an hour ago and just completed the second chapter and will be buying the full version shortly. This game is addictive. The puzzles are challenging, while not being impossible. With attention to detail and a bit of cunning, this game is a blast. I do wish it was a little longer, but if chapters 3&4 are as fun and interesting as chapter 2, I do believe it is $3 well spent. Devs, keep up the great work the art style is amazing. The details in the terrain is fantastic. It’s not often you see such attention to detail in mobile games. This is the first review/rating I have ever written and I do believe this game deserves the rating. Seriously fun, seriously challenging, seriously addictive. If you like puzzle games, you’ve found the right one.
jcmick,
Nice challenge
This game has a lovely relaxing soundtrack, simple controls and a decent challenge, especially if you love the Faraway or Room series. I actually found some of the puzzles more difficult than both of those series which was nice as a veteran of old school point and clicks. I do have two small critiques though. A decent number of puzzles use a laser that can be dialed around in a circle. For some of these, especially later, I found the full 360 range very delicate to line up just right, which made some of the puzzles challenging for the wrong reason. The other critique is just the length. While each chapter is very multi-layered, there are only 4 chapters so far. I’m hoping this second issue is temporary and more chapters will come along at some point. Thanks for a fun game!!
CRichardsMN,
Decent puzzles, Flakey for Touch
I thought this was worth the $$ after the first 2 chapters, so thought I’d support the developer. As I got into chapter 3 and eventually 4, the puzzles were ok but the touch screen controls on a phone were so flakey that I couldn’t tell if the puzzles were extremely hard or that I just couldn't control the mechanisms. Turns out, they aren’t that hard and I spent a vast majority of the game play trying to get to a decent camera angle, bouncing back and forth from camera angles and guessing mechanism positions or accidentally bumping them and having them erratically align themselves elsewhere. This would be a 30-60 minute game (without cutscenes and animations), but ended up 3-4 hours due to monkeying. Sadly, that makes it drop a couple stars... I’ve erased games for less, but since I’d sunken the money - I played it out. Think I’m gonna pass on the sequel...
Hummingbirb,
Really good but short
4 stars for length, otherwise 5

Although the goal of some of the puzzles was unclear, they were enjoyably challenging without being too hard. Only four chapters and left me wanting more, especially after spending money on the game. Very beautiful game with calming atmospheric music and good voice acting.
I did not like the clicky puzzles where you have to get all the blocks on the same level because I just had to click randomly to solve them. I feel like it was purely luck that allowed me to pass those without getting stuck on those.
lksdnoaihg,
Some control issues
I recently downloaded this game and was very excited about the style of its puzzles and its overall look and feel. The story is very interesting as well. However, there is some sort of sensitivity issue with the spinning “power” dials in a large portion of puzzles (the ones used to aim the blue beams.) They over-rotate to the extent where they’ll randomly go the opposite way I’m moving them. Lifting up my finger makes them jump pretty sharply away from where I pointed them. I’m currently stuck on chapter two in the room with many mirrors because I can’t get it to stay where I placed it. I’m not gonna frustrate myself over faulty controls but if this gets patched I’d be willing to come back and play- it’s a really fun experience otherwise.
fox7rot,
Game Controls and What Story?
Game controls are unresponsive and/or indecisive on movement, which is especially lousy when they’re needed to progress through the game by solving digital/physical/touch screen puzzles.

The story itself is ok. The protagonist doesn’t visually match the voice and what she’s saying. That’s a little bit annoying since it makes it difficult to care what happens to anyone and you end up focusing on just solving the puzzles (hit-and-miss/see above) instead of being drawn into a game experience.

I won’t pay for the additional chapters. There are so many other things I could do with my $1.99.

Devs: if you care about what you create and want it to succeed, you have to be excited about it and eager to share it. You have to make it more than just a game that might make some profit or show that you have some app building skills. You have to make it an experience that YOU LOVE, something that excites you and you can’t wait to share with others.
Whatever the format, from stick figures to CGI, it has to EXPRESS ITSELF as only you, it’s creator(s) can do, tell and share.
Windfinder711,
Keeps crashing / fixed now
Downloaded this because it looked interesting. Every time I started it, it would go thru the intro fine. Then it would go black and say loading. That it, app closes out and my phone is back to my apps menu. Does this not run on an iphone 7?

Got message from the developer about my first one star review. Told me they were working on a fix. About 4 days later i tried the game again and there were no problems. Played the first two chapters and enjoyed solving the puzzles.
Lou in Louisville,
Loved it!
I bought the second Krystopia that just recently came out and absolutely loved it so I went and bought the first Krystopia and loved it even more than the sequel. I liked the freedom of movement in this one compared to the sequel (Novas Journey) and although I’m not really controlling the character, I like to be able to look around and pan the camera. I really liked the puzzles and although I got frustrated, I finished without using a walkthrough. I really enjoyed both games and hope there’s more to come!
Azzle417,
This is amazing!
This was an incredibly enjoyable game! I very rarely spend money on games and I’m so glad I did for this one. Well worth the couple of dollars. I highly recommend it!

The puzzles were the perfect balance between too easy and frustrating! I absolutely LOVED the story! Definitely worth the money if you like puzzles and story lore! I’m now off to buy the next game!
