Just paid the $8 thinking the lite version didn’t work but the paid version would. But to my surprise, when you go to launch a. Level, the game just crashes. Please fix this!

Last iOS update broke the app. Please bring this great app up-to-date with iOS 10! One of the oldest apps on my iPad Air 2.

Truly the best gaming concept I've seen on the iOS so far... Not only are there new traps, buttons, bumpers, resizers, lasers, doors, cannons and duplicators, but they can ALL INTERACT. Not only that, but with the imagination and the time, you can make it all happen by yourself. Literally all of the features of the developer's levels can be fully utilized by the user with the online level creator and then published to the world, so others and yourself will NEVER be out of levels to play, especially with both iPhone- and iPad-specific user-created levels available on the iPad version. If making and playing your own levels isn't enough, bring you friend over and challenge up to 3 them via WiFi or Bluetooth. As for the physics... Just breathtaking. Having experimented with 2D physics engines myself, I can only applaud Illusion Labs for this one. The accelerometer accuracy is stunning, allowing for the slightest movement without the hardware's sensitivity getting in the way. It truly does enhance those harder level packs and often makes you wonder whether you're controlling an actual ball. The HD graphics are amazing, as expected, but there's is also a moving or stationary 3D view of the playfield that only adds to the experience. To top it off, Illusion Labs has included a list of awards (achievements) with unlockable balls, that is, if this game's ball of steel isn't enough for you.

There is a reason that this demoed on the iPad release. Perfect game for the iPad. One that anyone can play at any age. Good graphics, no lag - fun play. Extended play through downloadable content and user levels. You can even make your own levels. Only two issues that I think need to be addressed - but I believe they will given their past update history, and why its still 5 out of 5 and not 4 stars.

Devs –
1) Wish there was a "net" multiplayer option. 3g ipads or people on wifi should be able to play on the net. :-)
2) Please tweak the controls. When remapped so that I'm holding the pad in a 45ish incline towards myself for play comfort (don't like cranking my neck straight down,) I lose accuracy in the “down” since there is less “accelerometer” to measure for relative position of the ipad compared to the opposite direction. You can easily fix this by throwing in an algorithm that interpolates relativistic measurement positions compared to the other direction and extract a ramping that will compensate for the fewer recording positions. Making the shorter throw a tad more sensitive, but still giving the full range of the other direction as well. We do this in aircraft simulation all the time.

The reason I recommend this is that on some levels, I have to remap the controls to have the pad “flat” as there is a cannon or some obstacle that requires the full throw for extra ball velocity to make it to the goal.

I was looking for a game for showing kids what the iPad is, and i think this will be a big hit. I don't even play games and i just spent half an hour on it. The "board" is the iPad, and you move the metal ball by tilting the board (simulated gravity). Very very slick app - I'm a programmer myself and am very impressed with the polish of this app.

Only complaint, and it's pretty trivial: when you tilt the iPad the board and objects on it "tilt" to try and give you a more realistic perspective illusion, but it's slightly off, so I notice it much more than I should.

I highly recommend this as an example of what's possible in creative game play on the new generation of computers. For the professionalism of this app the price is completely reasonable.

This is an app everyone with an iPad should have! But please integrate the level creator into the app we have on our devices!
Please also let us have an option to delete all of our (downloaded) levels that we've finished that aren't on our list of favorite levels. These improvements would make the single best app available for the iPad, bar none! Please make these improvements Illusion Labs!

It is annoying how I have an overwhelming number of finished levels but I would like to delete all of my finished levels that aren't on my favorites. Please make a feature letting me do just that.

The game rapidly gets boring; although there are plenty of possibilities for items in a level, they have been put together such that the game is purely a physical balance game. That puts it in the 99c category of game, not the extreme prestige price asked for. For this price I would expect over 20 hours of play; maybe it provides for half an hour.

The demo is considerably better. The levels progress satisfyingly from tutorial to easy to moderate. In the purchased version, however, it stops progressing. All the moderate and even the supposedly hard games are all on the same level of play where the demo left off.

Indeed, the quality of gameplay is such that I would steer clear of any games from is developer.
