A very calm game. Easy to enjoy with cute kin and other Gaia pets. HOWEVER. The only thing I dislike is that some kin are locked behind a paywall requiring the fruit that you have to pay for.
Many games like this include ways to EARN free paid perks. For example: Watch an ad daily to receive 5 crystals. Login bonuses for consecutive days. A “spin the wheel” type reward that you can use crystals to spin or watch an ad once per day for a free spin that gets you a gold fruit or some crystals or bonus exp. Plus, having ads in the game would net you revenue even for players who don’t spend a cent on the game and for people who DO you can have a minimum amount like after spending 5 dollars on crystals it makes the game ad-free.
At least this way the game would be POSSIBLE to get 100% of the kins for free if you played it long enough.

I am shocked to see Gaia making a comeback with gaming on mobile devices. It’s so great to see it’s come back to work on things even just a tap game. I didn’t realize it at first but then my first Kin was a Grunny. I was absolutely overcome with memories of times playing the old games there. Having fun and meeting people online there, relaxing in Hollywood, playing zomg, the slots and blackjack. It was all so amazing. If there was any way to bring Zomg to mobile I would be so excited to play again, and I’m sure the concept of it would bring many players to it. Making your own avatar, earning cosmetics, fighting the old bosses and leveling the rings. If there were any way to bring that to reality from the team there I would be able to enjoy those good nostalgic feelings of getting a party together to fight the enemies. I loved grinding in that game, it never dulled out for some reason. My favorite boss was the geisha dolls boss room, for some reason it was so nice. Please do bring that mobile, it would bring so much joy to old players and so much joy to new people. Thank you for some of the best years of a game of my life you guys there on the team, I owe you for how much happiness and entertainment you brought me throughout my middle school days.

as someone who has played a lot of cute lil idle collector type games, I don’t necessarily have any complaints about the lack of gameplay or anything, as I like the idea of being able to check up on my tree and upgrade what I can and return to whatever I’m doing otherwise and it’s a cozy break from whatever chaos my day may have lol (*´∀｀*) though it wouldn’t hurt to have mini game functions to increase player screen time!
however, the problem I do have is as some other reviews have also mentioned, after playing for some time the loading screen becomes infinite and you can no longer play the game without deleting it and downloading it again, thus restarting your progress :// so now it’s just sitting in my apps untouched because I don’t wanna lose my progress but can’t use it either! of course I know this wasn’t intended and is simply a bug but it’s definitely a pretty major one, so I thought I’d make sure to pile this review onto the other ones! wonderful game otherwise, but please please fix this!

Okay, this game is amazing. Right off the bat I can say that. It's beautiful, it has lovely creatures, art, and music. That's not my problem. My problem is, I've been playing and collecting for months, and then, as of a few days ago, the game stopped loading. I would open the game, and it would get to the loading part and never stop loading. I've tried offloading and reinstalling, but it still won't work. I have plenty of storage as well. I really, really don't want to uninstall and reinstall and lose all my progress when there's a risk it may STILL not work. I waited a few days, but the issue didn't fix itself that way either. Please, PLEASE, is there any way this can be fixed?
Edit: It's frozen again. I didn't even make it as far as I did last time - I redownloaded this game after deleting it out of frustration since the review above, and it broke AGAIN just now and won't get off the loading screen no matter what I do. Deleting the app again and feeling really disappointed. Wish this would get fixed, a really do, because I love this game otherwise. But when I can't play, there's no point in keeping it.

I love the way this game works. I think it’s a great idea to have LK as an app, since the online version blew up so much. Although, I think it would be so much better if you could link your Gaia account to the app. This would encourage users to use Gaia more often, as long as they’re making gold/plat. The last thing I’d like to see is more updates. I hope there’s an addition to the game where you can battle kin, or something like in the online version. Overall, I’ve been enjoying the app!

Super cute Kin, super relaxing, love the little pedestals you can display Kin on 🥰 my only problem is the jump in difficulty from green to blue fruits and how hard it is to level anything after level 50. It’s not a pay wall but it is a huge spike in difficulty and length of time you can actually enjoy the game without going afk for hours to collect currency. I agree with a few other ratings saying there needs to also be a way to earn a few gems here and there to be able to buy things like rare gold fruit, boosts, and extra slots. If everything is so expensive (slots 100, fruit 60) please at least let us earn our way up to those without paying.

Are they Seriously calling this a strategy game???

I'm constantly left wondering what do you do, and what's the point of this monster collecting "game" (if you can even call it that). After leveling up your tree a few times, it's better to NOT be active and just turn off and leave it for hours or days, for it to get anywhere, than to actually try to make any real effort to progress. If this is a game, it's just a waiting game... very dull, pointless, might as well watch paint dry, or grass grow. No strategy or thought is involved in this to play (neither does it look like much thought was put in, to make it), no anything. Creatures are there to just stand around and look pretty. That's all this game has. A pretty cover, blank pages, and that's it.
No wonder the community side of this game is dead already when you go look it up.

I like the game, it's calming and overall nice but I feel like it's too hard to collect different kin. I keep getting the same kin over and over again and they even max out their levels just from me opening fruit. Another thing is, is that there is nothing else to do in the game but to sit and wait for your fruit to ripen. It would be nice if you decrease some of the kin probabilities and give something else to do

It’s a really good game, I like the music and all of the kins but the game is pretty boring otherwise, all you do is just kinda click and slowly get some more life, you can’t really interact with the kin, maybe you could add mini games or make it to were you can interact with the kin more, but I still like the game, also I may be wrong but the math seems a bit off, but it’s probably just me.

The kin are adorable and the game is a calm and chill one. However, getting life energy takes a really long time to obtain and the fruits are very expensive compared to the time it takes to get life energy. The crystals are extremely hard to get, especially since you seem to only be able to get them through new kin, which is hard enough on its own, or by buying them. There should be something like daily ads or quests so that crystals can be easily obtained.
