Great resource
I started looking for a shiur to listen to while in the car a while back when learning Kesubos. I stumbled upon this app and really enjoyed the shiur infused with wonderful insights. I did this for Megillah also. Never had a thought at the time to learn Daf Yomi. Something about the enthusiasm of this particular shiur was so enjoyable and drawing me in. I was finishing a mesechta just as the cycle was starting Menachos and then decided to join the Daf yomi. So I started and BH have been going strong with this shiur since Menachos. I now also got my father-in-law to join and he is also doing Daf yomi for the first time, he joined with Bechoros. My wife always comments how beautiful it is to hear me discussing the Daf and shiur with her father every day.

One of the top two serious Daf shiurim.
I do the daf personally in the morning late afternoon I do a chazarah, utilizing ArtScroll at times Shteinsaltz, iyun hadaf sources and mekoros in ArtScroll sometimes Sefaria. I listen to make sure I got a good basic solid understanding. I have to listen to Reb Bornstein Shlitah at .75 his normal speed that’s just me. Sometimes if I’m cloudy I’ll listen to him prior. It’s a Gevaldik shiur. Reb Bornstein and his chaburah clearly spend a lot of time and I love the chizuk in some Reid bites as well as the lamdus especially if it’s on an inyan I needed a Reid on!
He clear has a very helpful historic grasp on the tanaim and Amoraim and is educated in Jewish history beyond “ArtScroll Jewish History”.
His ahavas Torah is too good to be a performance. Phenomenal delivery, you’ll have a solid bikius grasp, allowing you to go into other Rishonim with more ease if you have time.
To Reb Yisrael Tizku lmitzvos, you’re harbatzas Torah for you and your chaburah is a Chiyuv! You’re all keilim, and keep up the phenomenal Avodah.

I have listened to quite a few Daf Yomi shiurim and podcasts, and R’ Sruly’s Daf Yomi is truly one of a kind!!
He masterfully and eloquently gives over #TheDaf with a unique level of clarity so that anyone from virtually any background can understand it.
For those of us who went to yeshiva, it is the perfect combination of Daf Yomi and lomdis, bringing back the wonderful memories of our time spent in Yeshiva!

Best Shiur, Best App and Much More!
The Lakewood Daf Yomi app is fantastic. The core daf yomi functionality is superb, with speed controls, remembered progress, offline support, and view daf functionality. Now you can break up the shiur into the daf and individual “reid bites” - small audio clips of expanded content related to the daf from rishonim and achronim. You can also browse and search Reid bites in several different ways.
There is also the new Mishnah Yomi cycle. So much to learn and all presented in a clear and engaging style.

This app is totally amazing!!
Firstly, this app wad very well developed and organized by Yechezkel Eider, makes finding the days Daf very easy.
Another Great feature is that whenever you leave a Daf and return to it at a later date, it picks up exactly where you left off.
It also has other great features such as starring, downloading, and checking off the Daf on the page itself. In addition, it also has voice speed control etc.
All in all a GREAT APP!!

Phenomenal Daf/App! Suggestions for improvement:
R’ Bornstein gives an addicting Shiur that makes me feel back in Yeshiva, which is an exhilarating feeling. Thank you R’ Bornstein for the time and effort you put in to delivering this masterful Shiur, and thank you to the rest of the team for ensuring a smooth Shiur and app.
I have a couple of suggestions for improving features of the app:
1. Shiurim should be labeled for the date of recording (I.e. east access to see before starting the recording whether or not the Shiur was from the previous cycle). This would be helpful in addition to the introduction of “The following Daf is from the previous cycle.”
2. Old recordings should also be spliced to allow one to listen to “Just the Daf” or particular Reid Beits.

Fun!!!
I’m a commuting Rebbe who tried many different Daf shiurs until someone recommended this one. By far the most enjoyable. Reb Srulys clarity yedios and love for learning are unmatched he sounds like he gives shiur with a smile on his face and is having so much fun. It’s electric and contagious. The reid bites as well are perfect for short car rides or anytime you have a few minutes. I’m so very grateful for all those who invested so much time and energy to bring this to the masses. A 5th grade rebbe in a very big mosad!
I’m blown away by the clarity and yedios of this maggid shiur. I’m someone that does not have a lot of time in my day to sit down and learn up a daf especially in Niddah. I’ve learned in Kollel for almost 10 years and I can’t tell you how well this shiur is given over with a lot of extra credit raid on the sugya and it really adds a lot to my learning. Thanks a ton for this tremendous work!!

I listened to other Daf programs, since I got hooked up to Sruly a day without it is a dead day , warning it’s addictive and gets more the more time you spend listening to the Reid , I am far away in Europe, but ושמעו הולך בכל המדינות וכו׳ צלח ורחב בסיד״ש Let’s have a לחיים for the new update, בשם כל החבורה הקדושה ברכה והצלחה
