Overall Great App
I enjoyed the whole thing, but I’m going to be honest the learn questions options is not working for me. Before I could get through the 1000 question. I would take a break and when I open the app after my background refreshes. I’m at 0 questions done. Making it so that if I want to see my past mistakes I can’t. Making studying very tedious. Especially for those questions that make zero sense and have to be memorized later on. Please fix this. 😭

It’s a solid app. Exactly the same questions like on the exam. I passed the test and so so happy😀. Glad that I found this application. I’ve been looking for an app that gives you the most actual questions and answers. Tried this one, and it even has the same mistakes like in original test. Which is very helpful. For me the important part was that you can find information on how and where to register for the test, what documents you need, how to prep, different languages, i think it has 9 languages, that’s big deal for me and my friends. The original Chinese driving test very tricky. But this app will prep you 100%. Also i used study guid, I found in this app.

Helped me get my License!
I downloaded this app about two weeks ago. There are alternatives online that are free but they don’t manage if you are actually learning the questions or not.
This app keeps track of the questions you consistently get right and those that you consistently get wrong. It does the work for you on focusing on the questions you struggle with.
Overall a great app and I passed my final test with 98%! I would repeat the process again.

No tracking of progress
The content is accurate and the app is simple to use.
However, it didn’t track my progress or save my missed answers, and it reshuffles the 1000 questions each time so there was no way to keep track of my own progress except to screen shot my wrong answers! Not worth $12 USD.
That said, I used it in one day to review for the test and passed the test on the first try. (Second time applying for license, first time studied and passed test several years ago).
However, it didn’t track my progress or save my missed answers, and it reshuffles the 1000 questions each time so there was no way to keep track of my own progress except to screen shot my wrong answers! Not worth $12 USD.

Very glad this app exists to help expats prepare for the driving test here in Shanghai. Thank you for all of your help and support. My only bit of feedback would be to somehow create a glossary/picture dictionary so we can study the different traffic signs.

Don’t pay for full version
The app is very useful but the customer service is horrendous.
There is zero need to purchase the full version. Once you purchase it, you are faced with a buggy app that erases your progress every time you click away from the app. Not only does it erase your progress, it also reshuffles the questions in a completely different order so you can’t keep track of which questions you have studied.
The worst part is the customer service—day late responses and no help or solutions offered. They tell you to just use it as is.
My husband luckily did not purchase the full version and has found the app to be great for studying as he is able to go back and see which questions he has studied and got incorrect.

The questions from this app are exactly what I encountered on the actual exam. I passed the test in 15 minutes.
My only complaint is the that the study questions are marked “Learned” and then don’t appear again for months. I would like “Learned” questions to be reviewed in Study mode.

This app helped me pass the exam!
I spent a couple of months preparing with Laowaidrive for the driving theory exam and passed with the score of 92 in December 2022.
I would say that during the exam I came across 75% of the questions from this app and around 25% new questions.
Some of the new ones, like many others in this app, are not very well written in English, so the answer might be not obvious even if you know the theory.
Anyway, wishing everyone luck in obtaining the Chinese drivers license and want to say thanks to the authors of Laowaidrive!

Good but could be better
The questions are good but it does not keep track with what questions I have learned or gotten wrong, and therefore makes it very hard to quickly learn a thousand questions. I wish I could study a small number at a time and it keep up with which questions I have studied.
