New Features
- Main home button:
We wanted to make it easier for every user to interact with the application. This multi-approach main button was designed to make the life of hard-core users with big screen smartphones way easier. No need to reposition the phone in your hand to reach the buttons previously located on top of the screen. Every button is now elegantly packed in a smart menu at the reach of your thumb. Try out the new "slide&drop" mechanic for an even faster interaction.
- Slide down to close behavior:
You can now slide down almost every view that slides on top of the main window. We are restrained by the fact that LayOver S.N. is an Hybrid app, but we want it to behave and feel as much as possible like a native app. This is why adding this new feature was crucial for us. It makes in-app navigation easier, more confortable and intuitive.

1.2.1 is an accessibility update that comes with some great new features and many improvements. This update focuses on the growth of LayOver S.N. It implements changes in the SignUp and validation system to allow users not actively flying for an airline to access the global lobbies. A friend referral system has been created with a Premium plan reward system. It also comes with bug fixes and improvements have been applied to this new version.
New features
- Friend Referral:
We wanted to thank our users for bringing more people to the network. Now we can ! You will find your Refer-A-Friend code on your profile section. From there you will also be able to visualize your referrals' status.
-Guide and Conditions views:
When you run the application for the first time, guide views will popup to introduce you to the section you're heading to. Some of these views will also prompt you to confirm that you agree with the lobbies terms and usage conditions.

- Accounts creation and ID validation:
Revisits the account creation system to make LayOver Social Network™ accessible to all flying crew, wether or not, they are part of an airline. You can now create an account submitting your pilot or flight attendant license and decide to get access to the airlines dedicated lobbies later on, submitting your company ID for verification.
- Chat lobbies:
We built our system to prevent eventual intrusions / leaks in any airline lobby verifying, before loading any message, that our users really belong to it. We added an additional layer of safety on top of it with our new Airline ID Verification System (AIDVS) now made independent of the account creation. Users that didn't go through the airline registration process won't be able to access the airline lobby window at all.
Bug fixes and other improvements.
- Fixes a bug that causes the camera plugin to take about 10 seconds before running when called for the first time.
Changes the way "Friends list" and "Black list" sections are displayed on the screen. They now open in a separated view instead of within the profile section. This prevents having to scroll back down the profile page when leaving the Friends and Blacklist sections.
- Fixes a bug that causes automatic emails sent from the app to be considered as Spam.
- Fixes a bug that causes the in-app browser to display the wrong page before loading the new targeted url.
- Fixes a bug that causes the in-app iFrame to show a blank screen instead of the targeted page.
- Fixes a bug that caused some buttons not to be enabled when content would be pasted in certain inputs.

During this process, we reinvented the system and made it so the users could choose to allow or not multi-sessions. You can now decide if you want to be able to login on several devices at the same time, or not. And if so, you can easily disconnect your account from any other device with a simple tap from the settings page.
- Versions verification system:
To prevent any malfunctioning of the application, a version verification system has been implemented. If a major update is available, the app. will only take you to the Apple Store to update it. If a minor update is available, you will be noticed by the app. on its launch but will still be able to choose not to download the update.

- Fixes an issue that causes the lobbies to load older messages coutinuously without adjusting the scroll position to the last read message position. The - loading system has been slightly modified visually speaking.
- Fixes minor bug that causes the Premium plan manager to load layover's home page before loading the plan manager.
- Fixes a bug that causes the lobbies to load twice the first 20 messages when taping on the "Reload Chat" button many time rapidly.
- Fixes a bug that would prevent the user profile picture, once uploaded on the server, to be updated on the user profile view without restarting the app.
- Fixes visual bugs related to the Dark mode that would set the wrong color on several buttons.
- You can now show someone else's profile from the lobbies members list in the details section tapping on their name.
