I really like this convenient method of identifying leaves. Only thing I don’t like is a loud advert that suddenly came on today but I guess someone has to pay something. (Unless my app was hacked…)

I do not recommend.
This app did not identify any plant or tree photo I took including an apple tree with fruit on it. It did not even provide any possibilities, just an error message stating nothing was found.
It has no instructions, online help or support.
The app downloads and opens for free. But I found no free functionality. Instead, it presents video game ads that cannot be cleared without closing the app.
You must purchase a subscription to enable any functionality. It costs a minimum of $3.99, for a one week subscription, which automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before expiration of the current subscription term.
To disable auto-renew you must do so in your Apple ID settings, which is about the only thing explained by the app when purchasing a subscription. This information doesn’t appear within the app settings or elsewhere that I could find.
The name of the app is easily confused with LeafSnap, an app from a totally different developer with lots of information available about it.
As I didn’t pay close enough attention to the subtle difference in branding, I ended up choosing something that didn’t work for me and feel that I was misled.

I’ve been able to identify many plants in my garden. What I like best is the ability to save my plants info and return to it when needed
