MikeBeachBum,
One of the best!!!
I rarely write reviews, but this game deserves all the support I can give it. Developed by Mariaglorum, this HOG hit all the right spots. It not only had all the features one would expect in a modern hog, such as an informative map, a hint system that directed to location, and great voice overs, but additionally had an interesting story, fantastic incredibly interactive scenes. It seemed like every location and many things to manipulate, and then scenes within locations, and scenes within scenes! And I enjoyed the collectibles in this game more than any other. If you're missed one, you could hit a button and it would take you to the location that you missed. Even the fresco one builds by getting achievements was great! You should definitely check out the other Mariaglorum games, but this one is their best! I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I did!

League of Light: Silent Mountain
I liked this game! Gameplay was smooth, with no glitches, had a nice teleporting map, and it took a while for me to finish it...haven't played the bonus game, yet, and I purchased the game over a week ago (lots of stops and starts). Also, you get to choose between a male and female character...I chose female ('cause I am one, so that made sense!), and I kept wondering the whole game why I thought that I had heard the characters voice before. When I got to the end, I read through the credits, and discovered that Lani Minella was the female characters voice...if any of my fellow gamers have played any of the HER Interactive games, she is the voice of none other than Nancy Drew! Anyways, I did like this game, and recommend it...nice graphics and no occult stuff that I hate to spend money on... just a good game to play to pass the time!
Ytcytih,
It was just ok, here's why
Pros: Nice long game, interesting storyline, fantastic graphics, amazing animation and I loved all the sound affects! It had lots of rooms and the HO games were a lot of fun because they were all interactive and a lot of them were not repetitive.

Cons: Too easy to find items especially towards the middle and end of the game. The puzzles were too easy to solve so I started losing interest in the game and playing this on an iPad the items were sometimes hard to grab from my inventory, it got frustrating. Also, When I came across the next item I would have to find , I pretty much new what to expect and what I'd be looking for without any hints...... FOR EXAMPLE if I found a bag with stitching on it, I knew I'd be usually looking for a knife, scissors or broken glass to cut it open. I wish these games were more creative with objects/items.

It would be a lot more challenging and fun if I didn't know what to expect. That's part of the excitement, challenge and fun.
Dracyy,
L.O.L. Silent Mountain- rock solid!
League of Light has been a great series (each plays as a stand alone) and this one is truly outstanding. The first thing you notice is the game asks you to choose the gender of your character- male, female or none. The voice not only reflects your choice but the other characters reference your chosen gender (he, his, she, hers). If you choose none the dialogue is gender neutral and you have no running dialogue in your head. Very nice to choose!
You are chasing a supposed rogue agent from your own agency and run into monsters that can turn anything to stone! They are also after the missing agent. Who will get there first? Collect figurines in some scenes, hidden owls in all scenes. Transporting indicated map, labeled inventory, custom difficulty and adjustable brightness. No noticeable vermin so far. Verdict: buy and enjoy!
thhpht,
Old but good!
Unlike some of the newer Big Fish games, this one has puzzles with clear instructions. There’s also no duplication of puzzles in the game, which is great. I also appreciate being able to zoom in on the HOPs. Even though I’m near-sighted some of these HOPs are tiny! The Hidden Object puzzles, are, however, a little wonky. More than once, I tapped the right spot repeatedly, but it wouldn’t clear the object until I hit the hint button. I also wish the game had been longer. Maybe if less time and megabytes are devoted to a few too many video cutscenes, there would be more room for additional gameplay!

This is an older game, but I intentionally sought an older game since the newer Big Fish games have been disappointing in regard to the puzzles and way too elaborate video cut scenes. Please make more games like this one!

I usually spend quite a bit of cash each month for games, but lately because most of the games haven't been blessed with "try before you buy", it's been a crap shoot when spending $4 on a game and then finding out its not my cup of tea. However, Darcyy's review prompted me to take a leap of faith, and I'm so glad I did, this game is AWESOME!
The puzzles take a bit of thinking about but are not unreasonably hard, the HO'S are varied which makes for a nice change, the choice to be a gal or a guy is a nice change and the storyline rocks. BTW I don't have a problem with vermin but I suppose somewhere down the road I'm going to come across BF's
obligatory snake, yuck! Thanks again BF you scored.

It's gotten to the point where I just automatically buy anything made by these developers! League of Light is one of my all time favorite series.
It offers custom settings, which is always great. It also has a good map - no teleporting, but if you hit the "hint" it'll take you right to the spot that you need.
The games are just difficult enough to be entertaining, (although a few of them are super easy, but that's not the norm is this game) difficult enough to offer a challenge, but not so hard that you pull your hair out until you finally hit the skip button.
Fun collectables, owls in every scene. A small group (5) of statues. (I don't think there any others, but I could be wrong.)
Plus if you wait until the credits are finished you're given another "reward" in the achievement section.
I highly recommend this game, & ANY other of the League of Light series!
07Raven,
Very enjoyable!
Nice story, good graphics, logical and fun selection of different puzzles, entertaining. Might be too easy for players who play at the most difficult levels (I used the custom setting and kept hints, maps, but no sparkles - I rarely needed hints.) but most players should find it challenging enough without it becoming frustrating. Games areas are divided into sections so you do move forward and completely eliminate having to return to some areas you visited early on, only revisiting various rooms and objects within the section you're currently in. Nice length. Comes with a map you can use to teleport about.
blueflier,
League of Light is a winner. Finally a five star game!
Agree with all the great reviews. Excellent fundamentals--cut scenes, voice overs, back button, decent but not giveaway hints, teleporting map, labeled inventory, but oh...reviewers, the varied minigames were challenging and unique and just plain fun. There were collectibles, and if you missed one, you could go back to a scene to find it. I like that, because then you can follow the story and not always be thinking about where the owl is.

Also, cheers to the dev team and QA folks who tested this game so that it was seamless and glitch-free. So many of the games crash or take time to load but this was just so smooth...I really was fully engaged in the game and storyline. And the bonus game was fun, too.

Highly recommend, at sale or non sale price.

Thanks for the great reviews that helped me to decide to purchase this game. Hope all are well. xo

Better Than Most
I have played a number of mystery games and this was one of the best I've played. Not just hidden objects. It was a very nice change. It comes with a map so you can jump to areas you need to. You have to buy the strategy guide but you don't really need it. The only glitch I came across was when I went to enter a second player. When entering a name it freezes. I couldn't type a letter. The typing board appeared but it wouldn't take any letter. I played this game on iPad Air, IOS 10.0.2
