VOA’s useful & helpful program.
I found VOA 5 years ago & it has been helping me a lot for my own learning English. I love all subjects its program. By reading & listening along, VOA helps me improving my grammar & accent, expanding my vocabularies & my knowledge. It’s not only helping me to learn English, it also helps me to learn American history, culture, economic, music, etc...My clients who American’s & I sometimes talk about American’s history & they said “Wow, you know American’s history better than us”
I love to learn most things, especially history, so American history in VOA is my favorite one.
I have been lived in the U.S 10 years, and I have to say, if I know about VOA sooner, my English is much better than now. Learning English on VOA program, for me it’s the best way to learn a new language.
I was a reporter in Vietnam, so I want to keep up my writing, even though I don’t think I am able to do this job again here. But as I said I am a learner, I love to learn. In fact, things always change, so I never stop learning.
My writing has not improved in English yet, but I’ll keep it up by reading & listening VOA, hopefully some days, it’ll be better.
Last thing, I want to say thank you very much to people who have created VOA.

VOA English teaches me a vibrantly live language and keeps me up to date with world news, giving me political, economic, social attitude which in turn, expands my general knowledge. This adds heaps of raw material for my brain to live my time thinking and make my own ideas. I hope to be able to add to my general knowledge and change myself for a better world.

Voa learning help beginner start to listen variety life aspect
I have learned Voa for a year by cell phone, I am knowledge of many fields of life thru it. Thru the Politic news, science, stories...I am also familiarity with Americans culture, it’s a little different from my country. That’s the most value I gotten from Voa besides i learn new English words and grammars, but no more advanced program for learners as well. It’s better if Voa supply some advances article which in daily newspaper of Americans.

Almost perfect
I really like your app. So far it is my favorite app to learn English. The only feature I think the app lacks is the automatic downloading function. I wish the app can always offline the latest 10 news so that each time when I open the app I have something fresh to listen, even with poor internet. Otherwise I have to manually select the news to offline and wait for the download to finish before I go outside.

VOA not only has good pronunciation but also excellent news for me. Sometimes, the speaking and reading is not match each other. However, that is fine. Because of clear pronunciation, I can recognize what this word is. Thanks for your helping my English.

More features need to be added
The app itself is good but to make it outstanding the developer needs to add features such as pause and repeat so that after the reader reads a sentence there is 1 to 15 seconds break before the next sentence and also a feature that can repeat the same sentence for several times . All adjustable in the settings section.
