Don't worry. Your existing Word Bank will be moved to the new Starred word list. If you have an iCloud account, all of your custom lists and your Starred list will be backed up to iCloud and synced across your devices.

Great app

Awesome app!
Perfect for any beginner who wants to learn Croatian. Shows you how to pronounciate the different expressions and the flash cards are really helpful! However, sometimes the voice recording goes a little too fast... maybe an option to go word by word? Wished that they had a section that showed you how to pronounce the individual letters and gave rules on how to properly pronounce them so that you could sound words out yourself then check to see if you got it right. But overall great app!

Solid way to jumpstart language learning
The app is well designed. Visually appealing. Not actually perfect but deafly professional. Good flash card ability, which for me is basically the most fundamental way to add vocabulary. BUT one key point. To make this app's flash cards worthwhile, you need to change the settings so that it does not only quiz you on what the Croatian word means. So, to make it also show cards that ask you to provide the Croatian word. To configure that, inside the app go to more, settings, flash card settings, and make sure that BOTH Native and English are on. I don't know if this app would be the tool to truly advance further in a language, but for kicking off the language learning process I recommend this. I may upgrade to the 10 dollar version if it keeps being this good.

Needs better vocabulary
This is a great practice for understanding a difficult language, because it reminds you every day to simply practice one word. However I have been occasionally disappointed by lazy choices (like "Zagreb - insert a name of a city from your country"), or an audible pronunciation that doesn't match the written word. Also the page us excruciatingly slow to load. However I'll put up with slow pages if there is a little more effort on word choices. This is why I haven't purchased the pay version. Overall thanks for the practice.

Just bought!
I just upgraded to the $10 version and it looks like there is enough here to keep me plenty busy however; there is one feature that I would like added - I would like to have the ability to slow down the delivery so that I can better hear the pronunciation and the way words are blended together so that when I do try to speed up my speech, My pronunciation is accurate, rather than just a guess. (a competitors website provides a 'turtle' button which I really appreciate.

Good for basic learning only
General speaking it looks like a good app for learning words and getting some basic conversation skill. It has several misinterpretations of croatian meanings. When contacted for suggested corrections they answer in an automatic standard response. But the corrections are not ever done. There is not either updates for vocabulary to address such a mistake. It has potential, but I guess this company is more focused on other languages.

Very slick, but numerous instances of editorial sloppiness
There are very few apps out there for Croatian, and this one definitely is slick - probably because it appears to be a common platform leveraged for various languages. Worth the price, but be warned that there are a great many mismatches between audio and text, and annoying little things like that.
