Fun way to learn
The programmers have put together a fun way to learn utilizing various modalities: visual, auditory, kinetic, & verbal. By engaging the different ways people learn in a manner that is fun & useful it is helping me to learn quicker. So far I am only using the free version. I haven't learned how to slow the sentences or if there is a way to do this, but I am enjoying this app! I am rating it 4 stars only because I don't know if there is a way to slow it down. Also it would be nice if there was a place to look at individual words & sentences vs the situational scenes, which there may very well be, but I haven't found yet. Merci!

hello hello
this is the first app (or anything for that matter) i acquired to try to learn French. i purchased it a year ago, and i return to it from time to time so some of the basics become more deeply ingrained. i like several of the upgrades...however i wish it would recognize apostrophes when typed on the iPad (keeps telling me i misspelled words). also wish it would do the flip screen thing. I am not real fond of the corny animation----looks like it was done in Anime Studio---but that is a minor pet peeve. it really did set me off on the right foot for learning French. i would recommend it for any beginner who wants to get a solid feel for the language--- and who wants to learn a number of useful phrases and words

This app is great to brush up your French. What I like the most is the fact that the lessons cover topics such as ordering in a restaurant, shopping, going to the bank etc.. which is very useful. Also, I really like the exercise to record and review your pronunciation.

I quite enjoy this app. A woman I was in love with chose a Frenchman over me, and it was getting to where I would flinch everytime I saw a Renoir, and my flesh would crawl when I heard people talking French on the street.
I realized I can't hate an entire culture just because of jilted romance, so I decided -- lemons to lemonaide -- I needed a language any way, why not learn French!
This is a very handy tool, it is laid out well, and it gives me enough of a grounding in basic French (I supplement it with a French workbook) that if I will just spend 30 minutes per day practicing, my skills progress by leaps and bounds.
The interface is fun and clever, and I like that they remind me to study my lesson daily.

I have enjoy learning new language. I learn everyday, and started speaking the language with my cousins. They have no idea what I was saying, but I teach them. I really enjoy this app. Thank you for making this educational app for many people that want to learn. Keep up the good work.
P.S. Why not try to make the app in American Sign Language? It will be worth it for students who needs or want to learn. I am sure it will be fun. Looking forward for new languages.
