Five stars... but...
No matter what I think this is a five star app. I’d give it ten stars if I could. I have but one single gripe. I’d like it to be Landscape on the iPad Pro. Mostly because I am using this to learn Russian and I have an iPad Pro English / Russian keyboard. I’d like to be able to use this in Landscape mode with the keyboard but the app is likely just an iPhone app that happens to look very well on the iPad Pro but doesn’t take into account when it is being used on the iPad Pro. A simple Landscape mode would do the trick.
Don’t let me take away from how great this app is. I use it almost every single day in combination with a competitor language app both of which I think compliment each other. This is one of a few apps I have found that truly make me believe it is possible to learn another language. This app works.

Don’t have to be Superman to use
This is an excellent tutorial for the not-too-serious student of Russian, requiring at any lesson only a few minutes to acquire a few more words or phrases, etc. Rather than limiting my growth, this approach makes the process one which you can do day on day without being overwhelmed. Over time you can easily pick up a good deal of the language. Go-getters and strivers might prefer a more rigorous program.

I love this app
This is been my favorite app for a little over a year now. I love the deals they have for the app, I always go for the free trials. The app has improved my Russian a lot, aside from me taking a weekly class online with my teacher. This will always be my number one app to use, I always recommend it to my friends or people in Facebook groups for language learning.

Makes Russian current and relevant
I’m a native speaker who lost most of her Russian when I moved to the United States. I’ve struggled for years to learn back what I lost and this is the first tool that has made Russian relevant, fresh, and fun to learn. The daily lessons bring variety to your vocabulary and keep you engaged with typing versus listening. Overall I recommend this app.

I am truly learning. I can recall words, phrases, and see the native language as written. My next move is to find a group of native speakers for more immersive progress. Mondly is like if Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur had a witty, methodical baby that got to the point in a fun, engaging manner. I love this app
I have learned a lot using it. And I like the way it motivates me to keep my streak. My only complaint is that there are some significant mistakes. My Russian husband often has to explain missing concepts. Also, there are several places where the audio does not match what is written. I keep submitting these errors but nothing has been done to fix them.

I love this app!
I’ve used Russian language-learning products from Rosetta Stone, Pimsleur, Babbel, Duolingo, and others over the last couple of decades, and I have found Mondly‘ stories be my favorite after a couple of months. Retirement sparked my interest in learning Russian (my daughter’s first language) again.
