Great...but
This app is a very good resource and I like it , however when I open the app when I’m not connected to WiFi. It emits a horrible sound which overwhelms the native app. I’ve deleted and downloaded the app and that seemed to fix it but it’s happening again

Good beginner app
This app is very clear and easy to use. If you have a few hours to devote, you could probaby get through all 7 days at once. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the songs you learn - they are mostly known, but far from popular. If you could buy additional songs in app to learn and practice, this would be the best uke learning app I've seen.

I bought this to see if my fifth grade music students could use it for an independent study project. I like the easy instructions, illustrations, and animations. The practice songs are repetitive and long enough to actually make progress every time you play through them, and it's a lot more fun to play along with other instruments providing the melody than it is to just play a string of chords. This app is a great tool for learning the basics of strumming and chords. Not only did I recommend it to my students, it inspired me to purchase my own ukulele for home.

Very Informative
I've been using a book to learn to play the ukulele but I could never get the strumming portion of the book right since it always sounded weird to me. Having the visual and sound reference from this app really helps me to learn proper strumming. Plus I'm also learning new strumming techniques from this app as well. It's a very well-built app. It shows the beat and rhythm for each strumming and also when you should strum up or down,

Fantastic start
I used to play the guitar so found this app super easy to follow and work through quickly. The folks who wrote the app must be not only musicians but teachers. They understand how to break things down into bite size pieces and then help support your playing to independence. Well done! I wish they had lots more levels. How about 30 days of lessons laid out the same way? I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Buy this app if you are just learning uke!
I am just learning the uke after having picked one up while on vacation in Hawaii. This is such an incredibly helpful way to begin learning! I loved it so much I burned through it in 3 days and then bought the 99 cent in app song pack. I wish he'd make more song packs! Very cool!

Very helpful
I wanted to write as someone said this app was not valuable. As a beginner I found this untrue. I am getting more from it than private lessons that cost ten times the price. Especially if you are new to music give this a try - it is very easy to follow.
