Description
As someone who regularly receives chemo injections, I need to keep track of my last injection location - "Was it on the Left side of my butt or on the Right side?" After years of back and forth, it has become difficult to remember. That is why I developed Left Side Right.
Use Left Side Right to easily track Left Side or Right Side for chemo, blood work, insulin shots or whatever your need.

HERE IS A LITTLE OF MY STORY ... and how Left Side Right may be useful to you.
My name is Mark Andrews. In December of 2007, at the age of 36, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Carcinoma - a form of Pancreatic Cancer with mets to my Liver. I have since had a Splenectomy, Partial Pancreatectomy, Liver Transplant, and a Spinal Laminectomy.
After the Splenectomy and Partial Pancreatectomy, I spent almost 4 years on the Liver Transplant list waiting. During those years I was receiving a regular monthly injection, alternating left, and right each time. That is when I first began to consider the need for something like Left Side Right.
In 2011 I received my Liver Transplant. They found between 30 and 50 tumors in my liver. After my transplant, I was required to draw blood on a very regular basis. After a time, both arms were so sore from the needles, it was hard to remember which one was used last. Again it was a time I could have used an app like Left Side Right to help me keep track.
A little over a year ago they discovered a tumor in my spine that was causing extreme back pain from pressing on nerves and eventually on my spinal cord causing my legs to go numb. Leading up to discovering it was cancer that had come back, I was attempting to keep track of where the pain was in my back to help figure out what was happening. On some days it hurt on the right side and on other days the left. And some days it would cause pain in my ribs, lower back, and shoulder. Trying to mentally keep track was impossible. I could have used an app like Left Side Right.
I have since had the Spinal Laminectomy to remove the tumor, leaving me with 2 rods and 8 screws in my back. We have also found tumors in both my left and right hip, two lymph nodes in my gut, in my spine and possibly in my lower back. I am now back to doing monthly chemo injections. Each time trying to remember which side I had it in last. "Was it my left butt cheek or my right?"
Finally, I just made the app. I hope you find Left Side Right as useful as I do.
