Create, explore and play with sound and image using lgOpre (pronounced luh GOP ruh), an app from artist and composer David Galbraith. Like his video installation artworks the app features abstract images linked to sound with a rhythmic red dot. Generate your own graphics with a synchronized melodic soundtrack using a simple touch interface.
Launch the app to start your audiovisual composition. Rotate your device to landscape mode.
Tap the screen to add more patterns. Each pattern is linked to sound that is played when the red dot activates.
Tap on an existing pattern to silence it. Tap the pattern again to restart its red dot and sound.
Swipe left to remove the last pattern added. Swipe left again to remove a randomly selected pattern.
Double tap to remove all and start over.
When you leave the app your creation is saved so you can start again later right where you left off.
Play alongside a friend who also has the lgOpre app and inspire each other in a sound and image jam session!

This app is good for music
If you want to make a creative song this app can suit your purpose. It's easy to come up with a pattern of music. I personally like this app and will give it 5 stars.

Cool little app
Love this no frills app. Getting creative with sounds and images. Kids like it too. Looking forward to more features coming hopefully.

Mesmerizing
This is a fun, engaging little app that allows the user to create unique patterns of light and sound. It is super fun to play with on the iPad as well as my iPhone. My 10-year old son loved it. Looking forward to new version of IgOpre with enhanced features.
