LibraryPass Hack 3.1.4 + Redeem Codes

Overall, I love the program and hope they continue to update it with great new comics! However, there are some points of contention I would like to discuss.

#1. The UI is all goofed up when I try to read the comics themselves as single pages. It is always cropped in too much, obscuring parts o the page and sometimes even text. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible please! I hate reading it in landscape mode on my iPad as 2 pages. Very frustrating.

#2. I can’t seem to read the Dark Horse comics, even if I download them. For instance, I can’t read Black Hammer or Madman. It would be nice if that was fixed.

#3. It can be difficult to see what was just added to the app. The “Just Added” tab and section on the homepage are very different, making it difficult to know if you are seeing what is most common.

#4. It would be nice if we could sort by age group in the filters for all pages. Such as, when I’m looking in the Publisher’s section, I can sort for the audience to skip past all of the Minecraft titles lol.

#5. It would be nice if there was a rating system here, so that people could rate a comic after they read it. I always appreciate this so I know if the comic is any good.

#6. Less lag when you click between pages. It almost always stutters for me and is super weird when I am trying to click to go to the next page.

I want to start by saying there is an excelent selection on here, although it is disappointing how many series that are finished that this app does not have the entirety of. Not sure why that is, but it’s difficult for me to try and get invested in reading something when I know they don’t have all of it…

Beyond that, the UI needs quite a bit of work. Swiping through manga on this app is painful. For starters, it has a tendency to randomly start you over if you switch orientations or from 1 to 2 pages. I’ve had it randomly switch me over to a different manga entirely in the middle of reading. But worst of all, when you flip the pages, it is the most jarring thing ever. Every other app I’ve read tries to make it a very smoth transition, this one gives you whiplash and an epileptic seizure at the same time, as it pushes the previous page to the side and quickly brings in the next one, but the movement causes a flash and blur on the screen which is just NOT pleasing to look. God help you if you try to read it at night. Just smoothing out the page flipping would go a LONG way to improving this app!

I love the idea of being able to read comics via my library card. However, the quality of the images (at least in the one comic I tried to read) is bad and turning the page had this irritating transition effect. I still have it 3 stars because I want it to improve. This service is what we need. We just need a better viewing experience.

Unfortunately this app is just so friggin buggy. At some point it switched back to its horrible lime green Ui, which seems to be a bug in itself, but generally it just makes finding and reading the comics so much more difficult than it needs to be. Case in point: I was reading a well loved manga today, and the pages of the book simply won’t display when the iPad is tilted in profile view.
For the love of Mike, get some fixes in there. Implement a functional search feature. The list goes on.

Comics Plus is a service I’m delighted that is generously offered for free, but unfortunately the app is not functional. The UI is clunky and left to be desired, but that is not a dealbreaker. The real problem is when I’m streaming a book, the resolution of the pages are abysmal — it looks significantly better on the web version than on the app. When I tried to download a book, the progress bar wouldn’t budge, so I couldn’t get that to work. The app is in dire need of fixing. In the meantime, I will use the web version instead.

I use an I phone 14 and the picture quality is horrific. It’s so blurry and pixelated that you cannot read the comics. Even zooming in doesn’t work. They have a such a wide selection and it’s even cooler that there’s no ads and it’s free but it’s rendered unusable if you’re not on a chrome-book or the website.

Edit: got excited to see that the latest patch notes include fixing the resolution issue. However, after updating and restarting the app I haven’t seen any change or improvement. :(

Amazing catalogue with a decent ui but the resolutions are so low on iPhone that some pages are just illegible. Better off on desktop for now

Good selection but the horizontal mode doesn’t display the correct pages. It’s one page out of sync

I just find out about this app on a Twitter thread I was excited to use it but I can’t because it doesn’t have any Sacramento libraries I all need is the Sacramento public library and I will be able to use this and hopefully edit my review. So if you can add the Sacramento libraries that would be great.👍🏽

I would really love to use this app but it literally has never worked for me. I open the app and it crashes every single time.
